Noda Miki Posted March 5, 2009 Orange rhymes with Doorhinge. If you say it right. *is just saying and didn't notice your orangeness* Door hinge is two words and thus Orange cannot rhyme with it as one word. As it is, door hinge is pronounced as Dor Henj while Orange is pronounced well, it's one syllable okay? Pronounced as you know it to be, like Ornj but with a slight a sound in the middle anyways.... Since rhyme can only exist between one syllable to another, Henj and Orange must be what are said to rhyme. However, clearly Orange and Hinge do not rhyme. Thus there is no rhyme, only similar pronunciation! Quote Link to comment
Little Miss Krahka Posted March 5, 2009 Depends upon what sort of accent you got and if you pronounce orange as one or two syllables. Two syllables can rhyme with two one syllable words just fine. But yeah. Yeah. Quote Link to comment
Chols Posted March 5, 2009 Isn't it like copper, not orange? =/ But whatever. Way to go Bf. Quote Link to comment
Sumiki Posted March 5, 2009 Orange is one of the only words in english that does not rhyme with any other word. Purple and Silver are two other colors. -=< >=- Quote Link to comment
