I have Spore. I can't play it due to faulty DvD drive though. It's an awesome game to play through.

Spore has all of this anti-piracy hardware installed right, but sometimes people copies somehow become pirated even though they spent good hard cash on it, and then you can't play it. The whole thing is just a scam. An amazing idea on paper, but poorly executed.

Thing of flOw, Age of Empires, and EVE. Now imagine those with a little gimmick where you make charcters. That's all Spore is.

The expansion packs should make it somewhat better. They're making one where you can leave your spaceship!

Also, while we're on the topic of awesome games, why not try World of Goo? I mean seriously, where else are you going to find a loading screen that swaps time and space, filters moral, and occasionally bends the spoon?
