Seeing as I was never around for Red/Blue and Gold/Silver, it went something like Ruby, LeafGreen, (skipped over Emerald), Pearl, Platinum, SoulSilver, and Black.

I did not know about moving it with your hands. I did try it, however. Only works with certain sets. Lego City sets to be exact.
