It's from an image that I can't post here, the relevant data is COMBAT FORK: WHO CAN WITHSTAND THE POKENING, there's really not much else to it. But you totally can't use it unless you were in on the IM convo because it won't be as funny without knowledge of the unpostable peripheral data.

 

There's really no need to, y'know. I stopped being offended at remarks directed to me ages ago once I noticed that it never helps.

I really hate to intervene again, but why can't you just stop? This is getting sorta out-of-hand, and Cags, I don't think you're really listening to what your opponents are saying. Why not just close it and be done? Are you afraid of getting your comment revenue cut off, or something?

Because people DON'T just do it. In fact, several critics have told me that they 'need to start reviewing more', which is why they joined.

This is to make people do review. Because, if you're not 'forced' [we aren't forcing you, but you get what I mean] to do something, chances are you might not do it [and probably won't - that's how it is with me, anyway].

It's entirely within my power to revoke, if you aren't going to be contributing anything useful.

I don't particularly like that extreme, but necessities are necessities.

I really don't see how you think a club full of qualified and dedicated members reviewing MOCs could ever possibly damage the BBC forum... Or do you just dislike it because you aren't in charge?

I think will end up like every other blog club and every other "BBC revolution" has ended up: initially enthusiastic, with the club members excited about their new duties and posting messages all over... but after several months, the novelty wears off and the whole concept sort of dies out.

Exactly. If we can help give reviews for a few months, I'll be proud. Because, hey, this is how I think of it: If a lot of people start giving long reviews, then the short reviews are going to look out of place. Maybe, just maybe, more and more people will start posting larger posts, even if they're not part of this club.

The club is there whether you like it or not, I'm afraid. And unlike some most of the clubs on BZP, it's actually meant to be helpful.

In the meantime, complaining about it isn't benefitting you or them in any way that I can see.
