(why is it so hard to find a avatar/banner and stick with it longer than a month?)

I finally have all my writings up. What a mess. I had to repost everything…which was what…a dozen stories? Glitch is up, but not properly edited. That’ll get done once the Epics Contest is over. I’m currently fixing up my library topic too, so you guys can navigate through my stuff (link to library).

This artistic block is driving me insane. Since ACT is over I can hopefully get back to art, but I haven’t felt like I’ve done anything decently creative in a long time. I am excited to start working on my new epic for here, though.

Lastly, I want to do a weekly spotlight for artists/writers. I just think a lot of people really need some more recognition, so I thought this would be a great way to do it. I want to keep it simple, but if you guys have any opinions on it, shout it out.

Okay, I’m done. Ain’t my blog entries boring or what?

p.s. – After nearly four years, I have over 3000 posts.

Yay! New things to do with voiceacting ^^

Glad to see you got things sorted out on the literature-side of things.

As far as Art-block goes: My music helped me overcome mine and now I have to many ideas to take on -.-

I will need to do some serious sketching to not forget any ^^

About the spotlight...a few favorite artworks would be great to show off what you like about the artists, maybe some things about their style and how that makes their art unique.

And congrats on 3000 posts!

Not to mention the Authors.

Congrats on the 3000 posts, Lady K! I know how you feel with the Artists block, I too have had it for a while. Glad to see that your writing is back up.

Y'know what I'd suggest? Make your next epic illustrated. Character portraits, comic-book style action scenes, whatever, just throw it in along with the text. I mean, you are an artist, right? So what better way to get some drawing inspiration while making your epic more interesting?

Also not really any suggestions for the weekly artist/writer spotlight, but it sounds like a good idea. I compulsively lurk around in General Art but almost never set foot in the Library, so it'd be great to get some suggestions from you of good stories and story-writers. Like VF said, maybe feature a few of your favorite works of theirs, along with their most recent work.

I ALWAYS WANTED TO DO THAT. To write a epic with illustrations, I mean. But junior year + marching season + spending all spare time on original stuff = no time for BZP writings. Sigh.

Eh, I haven't been on BZP at all for a while, let alone the library or GA, so I haven't got much to offer as far as suggestions go. But, it's a lovely idea.:3

I'd absolutely love to do a illustrated epic--sadly, I've already attempted to do that a few years ago, and it did not work out so well. Too much work. But I can definitely look into making a few extra images for the epic, if I decide to write it out.

I'd love a weekly spotlight - It would give me more insight on the artists here at BZP (since I'm too lazy to look them up myself :P ) and would give those people credibility they might not normally have. And as another good thing, I could be in it if I EVER start posting artwork... XO

And..... Um. Don't you think, when posting in a blog, that you should be able to see the latest 10 entries like in the forums? 'Cause I sometimes forget what I'm talking about, and seeing other's posts usually jogs my memory.

Continuation: Oh, yeah. So, yay, Gits is back up, I've been wanting to read it, and not doing so, apart from being distressing, has upped the number of comma splices I've been doing, yeah.

If you have Artist's block, I don't know if I can help you, but you might try this quick fix for Writer's block, which might prove useful. ->Writer's Block Guide

Ten entries on what?

Urg, for some reason I've not been doing much on bzp... Anyway, it's a lot of work, huh? I certainly have no experience in that sort of thing. That would maybe explain why exactly it hasn't been done before, and now I'm kinda wondering why I didn't think of it earlier than I did, since I'm obviously not the first person to think of it. But uh, yeah, any pictures at all would help I think, even if it's only one every handful of chapters. Whatever you feel like adding will add a lot to your story. Of course, that's if you want to write it out. Perfectly fine if you don't.

So, like, when making a comment you'd be able to see the last ten comments on the entry you were commenting on, right? That's not a bad idea, although it's easy enough to circumvent. In Firefox all you have to do is middle click on the back button: Ta-da, the previous page, in a new tab. Or you could middle click on the blog name up there and navigate back to the comments page. Either way. In fact, come to think of it I do that quite a lot and have even used it in place of the last ten posts thing when posting in the forum.
