Mass Effect [sequel is coming out in December... I believe]

Assassins' Creed [sequel for this I believe is... I think in November]

Gears of War [1&2, they're both fun, though IMO, 2 has better multiplayer]

Call Of Duty [i'd wait for the sequel -- Modern Warfare 2. They tend to have pretty bad plots, but the multiplayer is fun... most of the time]

The Force Unleashed was worth the time I put into it.

Mass Effect is a definite must. You have no idea how good that game is.

The obvious of course too, like Force Unleashed, Assassin's Creed 1 & 2, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2, Need For Speed: Shift, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Star Ocean: The Last Hope, Prince of Persia, Final Fantasy XIII--it hasn't come out yet, but you have to get this one.

I don't have a 360, but all of these I have enjoyed, or just flat out look awesome.

Yup, Mass Effect for sure. But hold off on getting Force Unleashed until the special edition with new missions comes out later this year.

Halo 3: ODST looks like it'll be really good as well, and you can't go wrong with the first two Halo games.

I could suggest more but I don't really know what kind of games you're interested in.

Everything they said. Also, I get a big kick out of the Arcade games you can download and play from XBox live. My favorites include Braid, Castle Crashers, Outpost Kaloki X, Sonic the Hedgehog (oldschool one, from the Sega Genesis days), Catan, Heavy Weapon, and Portal. But there's at least a hundred zillion more.

Ohh, and DDR is a blast if you want to try your hand at that. You've gotta buy dance pads, though!
