Intro

Back for more this week? I think you might be disappointed, but we'll see what I can scrounge up.

 

Updates

So, our review last weekend was probably not what you were expecting. xccj was very much intent on buying it and talking about it though, so why not? It's definitely not the greatest camera around, but hey, it's got Bionicle slathered all over it!

 

In other news, we may or may not have a review posted this weekend, depending on how busy I am and if I want to deal with editing and formatting it.

 

It looks like there's going to be a third version of the Glatorian Arena game. I haven't heard Bink say anything about this, but that doesn't mean it won't be happening. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

 

Recording of the next BZPowercast should begin soon. Send in some questions to Powercast@bzpower.com if you want to get on the show. Let me know if you have anything you'd like to be discussed too.

 

I talked about some promotions or something in last week's update, and they've yet to materialize. Turns out things might be a bit more complicated than I first thought. But I think we're going to do stuff in stages, so hopefully you'll see some people in new colors soon. If you don't know who's getting promoted yet, it's probably not you. If it is though, and I'm wrong, you should send me a PM so I can get things straightened out.

 

Mailbag

1. Not as many as you might think, but still a fair amount.

2. DS9 is my favorite series. After that it'd probably go: TNG, VGR, TOS, and ENT. The good TOS movies are better than Voyager though, I think.

3. Based on just them and not the actors in general, I think I'd have to go with Picard.

4. You become an admin by spending way too much time on this site for too many years and by making friends with other admins and staff. Oh, and working hard too.

5. Blue.

6. Friendly.

7. 'Enjoy' might be too strong of a word. I prefer 'tolerate.'

8. They should be... Really, I have no idea why, that's just how it goes.

9. No...

With some people in new colours, do you mean that those will have new colours or that there will be completely new staff colours, thus a new staff group? :) Sounds exciting! Will there be a new promotion to Forum Mentor perhaps? I feel a bit lonely somehow being only three other Forum Mentors out there. :P

I'm not sure how exactly promotions can be such a complex process, but whatever. :P
Things get lost in the mail. I'm sure this Internet phenomenon will catch on one day, making promotions happen more quickly, but you how much he loves mailing stuff. :D

People may turn down a promotion which leaves you scrambling to find someone else to promote or maybe you haven't heard back from the person you offered a promotion. A lot of small little things like that can happen.

I'd say red. Specifically, the deep red of the blood of those he trampled to reach that rank... :P

Isn't that standard admin color, though? =P

 

I was thinking more along a GLORIOUS golden color. Supreme overlords deserve thrones wrought elaborately from only the finest and purest gold, you know ;)
