Move to a real state, where you get real amounts of snow. I stand by what I always say about snow: Coastal people are wimps around it.

(Seriously, 7 inches isn't even enough for a snow cave!)

Snow days don't even exist in Holland, and w laugh at everyone that doesn't come in by bike.

Reminds me of that comic I saw...I should scan it.

Mom is looking at the computer, says to her sun: "Your school is closed because of all the snow."

Son: "Cool! Can I go to the mall with my friends then?"

This. Which is why I'm irked that we haven't got any of it all winter. Er, there might have been a light dusting, but it wasn't proper snow.

^I know! We haven't gotten any real snow either. Maybe a foot at most. Which is really sad, cause it snowed a ton last year.

For me, a Foot IS real snow. I live in a "hi-desert" area. near the coast. So we don't get a lot of snow.

and even if we did, school wouldn't be closed. now, the REAL wimps are those in the big cities nearby... a light centimeter, and they all close!

We had 16 inches about a week ago. Now we have this pathetic 6 inches...

Where I go to college they've canceled school once in the past 5 or so years. That one time was this past semester because the governor ordered a state of emergency and all public government run offices (this included the University of Wisconsin system) to close, and even then we still would have had classes if the governor hadn't mandated it (though I'm glad we didn't, the weather that day was absolutely awful).

I wish we got 7 inches. Where I got we only got a slight dusting and only about 1 inch stuck and its totally useless snow The last big snow fall, my bro made a 10 foot or so snowman, I can't remember exactly how tall but it was huge. But before that he made 7 or so smaller ones and then he wacked them to pieces with his machete ^^ It was fun. I also threw a tiny knife into the snowman from a good distance away....Good times...
