Is it dedication or am I just too darn slow if I've spend two hours just to render the barrel of a rifle in Photoshop which in the end is just a small part of a much larger image?

 

Gosh this can be so frustrating...maybe I should just do smaller images, have bigger output in artwork...It sometimes feels like it isn't worth the effort...
