The last thing I wanted to hear from my track coach while I was explaining to him that the classes I'm taking and their work load are becoming very difficult for me and I'm really struggling to even end this term on a decent note was that "it's ok if you don't do that well this term because your GPA won't be effected to the point that you're ineligible for track or your scholarships."
*sigh* That's not how it works. I shouldn't be viewing my current overall GPA as a cushion for not doing well this term. So much for your "if you're having a difficult term come and talk to me and we'll figure out what we can do to help you" email, coach. Rrrgh.
Also: one of my roommates got so mad at me for rooting for Canada during the men's hockey final. It was kind of hilarious and OH MY GOD GIANT WALKING MAPLE LEAFS ARE INVADING THE OLYMPIC CLOSING CEREMONIES.
