It fails to deliver. It's an overgrown iPhone without a phone. Not even multi-tasking equipped or Flash capable. It's a grown kid who's not matured.

A friend of mine plans on getting one, and he cites it as a worthy investment. I suppose it is to the right market, the market of space-frugal, lightweight-loving college boy who wants the bare minimum in a netbook. Doesn't make sense why he doesn't just buy some random netbook at his local Staples and use that instead of an iPod on hormones, but heh, to each his own.

HP Slate, eh? You can color me intrigued.

The Slate does look cool.

And if 4.0 does add multitasking, then we're getting somewhere with the iPad (and iPhone, but that matters less) but until then or if it just doesn't pull through, I don't see a need for the iPad at all.

Apple better have something up their sleeve, I don't know if marketing will pull them through on this one.

For the record, it can support Flash.
