this entry is also about iPhone OS 4.0, which, in my opinion looks to be awesome. I very much dislike how my 1st gen iPod Touch can't use the multitasking, which is what I'm most excited about. If it costs anything for us 1st gen Touch users, I won't be buying it.

You could just jailbreak, there's multitasking apps but its kinda hard on the ipod 1g due to slower processor and battery consumption

 

Actually jailbreak is probably the best thing to do on a 1g, apple really doesn't care about their own stuff

Ungh I used to be so against it though. I'll research to see if I can my iPod repaired/replaced with a newer generation, as the back pops off right now. lol
