Nate was one of a kind. Words cannot express the magnitude of his contribution to the worldwide AFOL community. He was a maverick who unapologetically challenged others with his unorthodox building methods, but always remained humble as well. His incredible creativity was of a truly rare calibre. His creations will live on to inspire future builders for a very long time.

I kind of agree. Still, though... I can't quite wrap my mind around it. I guess I find it a bit hard to imagine the actual person behind all those amazing creations. R.I.P. nnenn.

I feel the same- I have seen his MOCs previous to this, but never really knew him. Nonetheless, it's horrible to know that a great person is gone, from both the world and the LEGO community. RIP nnenn.

Yeah, I never knew him and I hardly even commented on his work, but I always thought it was great. Never a boring creation, that's for sure.

I never heard of him, but it's like when my friends sister died. I didn't know her then, but it was all in the news. It was like everyone knew her and I didn't, but you just mourn the loss of them anyway.
