ChocolateFrogs Posted April 14, 2010 Who was he? This amazing builder. He'll be leaving quite a hole in the community. Unlikely he'll be forgotten though. -CF Quote Link to comment
Veq Posted April 14, 2010 No way. I always loved his awesome MOCs. I can't believe it. Quote Link to comment
BCii Posted April 14, 2010 Nate was one of a kind. Words cannot express the magnitude of his contribution to the worldwide AFOL community. He was a maverick who unapologetically challenged others with his unorthodox building methods, but always remained humble as well. His incredible creativity was of a truly rare calibre. His creations will live on to inspire future builders for a very long time. ~BCii Quote Link to comment
Neaku Posted April 14, 2010 It's sad to hear, but I never really felt a social bond with him. It's like when a celebrity dies and you don't really care. still sad though Quote Link to comment
Ganaaza Posted April 14, 2010 It's sad to hear, but I never really felt a social bond with him. It's like when a celebrity dies and you don't really care. still sad though I kind of agree. Still, though... I can't quite wrap my mind around it. I guess I find it a bit hard to imagine the actual person behind all those amazing creations. R.I.P. nnenn. Quote Link to comment
ChocolateFrogs Posted April 15, 2010 That's how I feel. He was a great MOCist, but that's all he was to me: a name (and inspiration, sure) on a website. -CF Quote Link to comment
Kylus Posted April 16, 2010 That's how I feel. He was a great MOCist, but that's all he was to me: a name (and inspiration, sure) on a website. -CF I feel the same- I have seen his MOCs previous to this, but never really knew him. Nonetheless, it's horrible to know that a great person is gone, from both the world and the LEGO community. RIP nnenn. Quote Link to comment
Arpy Posted April 16, 2010 Yeah, I'm not bawling my eyes out or anything, but it's still sad to think about his wife and sons, and I will very much miss his builds. Quote Link to comment
Bitter Cold Posted April 18, 2010 Yeah, I never knew him and I hardly even commented on his work, but I always thought it was great. Never a boring creation, that's for sure. Crazy. Can't believe he's gone. Quote Link to comment
Neelh Posted April 23, 2010 I never heard of him, but it's like when my friends sister died. I didn't know her then, but it was all in the news. It was like everyone knew her and I didn't, but you just mourn the loss of them anyway. Quote Link to comment
