Final Fantasy Lego

So as Schizo and T-Hybrid mentioned in my previous entry, Lego should do something that is Final Fantasy. :P

 

Now I been brainstorming this, and it could be a fantasy theme placed in the Castle category. Now you will say that Castle, Knights Kingdom, and Vikings is fantasy enough, but it truly isn't. They do not have the magical appeal that Final Fantasy has. And now you will say "Harry Potter has enough magic". Well Harry Potter is no magic. :P

 

What this theme could be is something that isn't like FFVII, or any of the other futuristic FFs (like VIII, X, XII, XIII, VI)

 

I talking more something with the classic FF feel to it, or maybe a something relative to a spinoff series, like Legend of the Crystal or FF: Unlimited.

 

What a Lego FF would have:

 

- Possible story arc revolving arould the 4 Crystals of Light (Earth, Fire, Water, Wind)

- And if they wanna continue the story, involve the 4 Crystals of Dark (Earth, Fire, Water, Wind), which conclude the 8 Crystals of the Earth.

- Maybe have one of the big sets be an Airship, with a figure named Cid. :D

- Chocobos :D

- Summmons

 

Just a thought. Of course Lego would have to sign a contract with Square-Enix.

I can imagine it happening, there are the right sort of pieces out there for it to happen with or without new molds, I'd like to see what Lego cooked up for their first video-game based licensing deal, if it happened.

But how would Lego do summons?

Same exact way they pulled off the mythical creatures in Vikings and Harry Potter sets.

It would be cool to have all of this FF Lego stuff. Though, they'd eventually they'd have to do KH Lego stuff. >_<

That would totally be cool. Seeing as they have Exo Force, they are set up for their next anime series. The minifigs and veicles(sp) would be great, and anything else (I've only seen Advent Children)

 

With that last comment, I don't know if it fits in, but a Cloud minifig would be awesome, but moreso his bike! And all those swords!

 

Well, you know, it isn't too hard to do this yourself for next year's Brickfest. (someone actually did to Cloud)

Omi, did you see the chocobos at BF06? Those would be just about right for a Lego set.
