And ART to show! :happydance:

This time I coloured on top of a sketch in photoshop - it took me about a month to complete. It's the first time I did some serious work with photoshop, so I'd be happy if you told me how to improve, or what could have been done differently. ^_^

Well, some of the shadows on the male charie could be a bit darker. Most importantly around the edges of his armour-plates and other sharp edges, it'll help define the character much more. I also notice a slight lack of Shadow on the girls face. The part of her hair next to her right cheek (viewers perspective) lies in shadow since it is covered by the face. Same goes for her left cheek where her hair is covering her face a little, you should add some shadows there. Other then that you've got some smooth shading going on here, I like it a lot.

And FYI it looks much better then my first serious work in PS.

It´s been quite some time since the last time there were art from you - or at least, so it feels. Then again, the same could be said about me, and unlike me, you´ve obviously spent the time rationally. =D

That is an amazing piece. You´re getting outrageously good at things like the foldings in their clothes, etc., while at the same time, you use effectless parts to make an effect. The wing itself would look plain and onedimensional, but in your pic, it all makes sense and looks real. :)

Another thing is that this tells a story; awesome. What story this is, though, I´m not entirely certain, but that´s not very important for the appearance, anyway. =J

Ah yes, the shading. I knew there would be something off.

Thanks a lot for the constructive critism!

Awesome art as usual! Keep it up!

Hee hee, thanks ^^

Well, there is art, but the problem is that lately I haven't really found the time to scan and upload it. 'nother problem is that most of the stuff I've been doing recently is

1)sketches and scribbles or

2) done on A3-sized paper (my scanner is only A4-sized, so scanning them would be hard ><)

I've never drawn wings/feathers with a tablet before, it's totally different - maybe that's why it looks a bit flat. But I'm glad that it works.

I don't know what kind of story it tells, either :D It's all up to the viewer.

She looks scared!

Interesting new name for the blog, Taka. I like it and the new bit of artwork!

Yeppa. ^_^ It's extremely entertaining for me to draw such emotions/expressions.

Thanks! =D
