Takarion Avon

Taka Nuvia

My current obsession/fandom takarion.jpg

And the best thing: I made him up! =D

Sooo... originally he was supposed to be nothing more than an experiment: "What would the male version of Takanuvia look like as a human?" (odd, I know). So I made one quick drawing, and forgot about him again. For almost a year he was gone from the world. Then a few weeks ago, I thought "Hey, wasn't there this black-haired dude I drew some time ago?"

I looked up the original sketch and redid it.

Much better!

Still, he had no backstory... so I used my imagination. It's still WIP, but I'll give you a summary ASAP - I just gotta write it down -.-

Oooh, and not to forget, there's a reason why I made this entry:

The perfect example for what happens if

PENCILS + OBSESSION + BOREDOM

Comments, anyone?

I´d love to hear that story. :)

I remember you posting the first sketches of him... that´s not a year ago, is it? Not already? =O

As for that last combination - I partly disagree. I´m certain you can make art without being obsessed, and boredom can often be replaced with inspiration. And lately you´ve proven that you can get a long way even without pencils! =J

Anyway, you´re years past the point where I´d usually have anything useful to add, so you´ll have to do with well-disguised or obvious compliments, as well as compliments that looks disguised but are actually obvious, and odd statements trying desperately to be compliments in disguise, such as this one. ;)

The last picture scares me. But it's all so awesome, all the pics.

Male Taka..hmm. I remember reading about him in another topic, or was it a blog..?

I forget, cha. Still, it's great seeing him in your current style of drawing. Quite stunning. And a story would be lovely. I like the little lines under his eyes the most.

I still have to write it down -.- There's a problem - there are two ways I could tell the story, and both of them seem quite appealing. (No wait, thre actually are three, now that I think of it.)

Surprisingly that was almost a year ago, yes. I remember drawing him first in September/October 2009...

Suure, that mighta be true. But I've experienced that my more entertaining works were done when either I was bored or a deadline was near. Moreover, boredom and inspiration have always had a close relationship for me. (I bet this doesn't make any sense ><)

*lol* I still prefer pencils over digital works. Maybe only because I've used them for a longer time.

There's always something you can add. ^_^ Although, to be honest, I kinda have the same problems when (re)viewing your art.

Aaanyways, thanks a lot! =D

 't was not supposed to be scary, though. I couldn't stop giggling/laughing while doing the shading.

Art topic, --> Right here (post link). ;)

Mhm... the lines and the clothing were the things I eagerly wanted to keep from the old design. And I even found a reason why he should have them (other than just because of what he was supposed to be ^^)

Thanks!

Why don´t you just try out all three - or even better, if possible, a combination of, if not all three, then the two most plausible. ^_^

Oh, but there´s still eternities left until September/October (if not, life is just a bit shorter than I´ve considered it :P ).
