Well, as a artist, I always find it much easier to dig through my supplies when it's organized to my liking--it sounds like a good plan.

regardless, bins/tubs > bags

I don't; but if you feel like you have too many pieces, then do it.

I'm not exactly an amazing MOCer but whatever.

That's what I used to do and then I got a bunch of plastic boxes w/ adjustable dividers (some box fishers apparently use) and now everything is divided by type of piece (feet, armor, tech, etc.) as well as color.

Yeah, that's a very good idea. I've done it; Worth the effort.

Mine are sorted into tubberware drawers by colour. Well, a lot of them anyway. I need to buy some more so all the things I've bought over the last two years can be sorted, so maybe I'll actually use some of the new pieces once in awhile.

You should organize your stuff.

However, speaking from an amazing MOCist's point of view, don't use bags.

I've been doing so for the last few days, so I'd be mildly hypocritical if I argued against it.

I seem to get by without sorting. To each their own basically. I tried sorting them by color once, and they just ended up get mixed back together.
