It's like the time where I skipped out on a Dungeons and Dragons game for a Star Trek marathon. I think that has to be the definition of geekdom.

Be aware that whatever you end up doing, I'll be doing the other thing the entire time. If you're at the party, I'll be at home watching Kim Possible saying very loudly every so often "Wow! Bink isn't here to watch this!" and if you stay home to watch Kim Possible, I'll go to the Toy Fair preview party in a really fancy suit!

I shall start planning to smuggle myself into the Toy Fair today! I think I'll use suitcases, stolen badges, a bunch of really dubious stuffed animals that I sewed myself and potted plants!

Which is why you should probably go for the Toy Fair, since even though I'm an overeager teenage rebel who'd be quite happy to spend a night in jail for something awesome like sneaking into Toy Fair or something (all while screaming "Help! Help! I'm being repressed! Come see the violence inherent in the system!"), I think that you old squares aren't quite as excited about the prospect of me getting at the very least kicked out by the convention security as I am right now.
