You know how a college kid's laundry cycle is determined by how much underwear one has left?

I'm out of socks. (Well, white ones anyway. I'm wearing thin boot-sock-liner, but I could have chosen dress socks.)

(Note: I have not done laundry since arriving here two weeks ago, so tonight that will change.)

But, but...I don't have/wear flip flops. ;_;

I just like something more secure. As nice as the air would feel on my feet, especially when it is hot out, flip flops just do not appeal to me.

I did, however, once look for some sandals, the kind with backing and straps, but could not find any (nor any at a good price). (I want something that if I was wearing it but needed to bike to class, I could hop on my bike and do so.)

My laundry cycle thus far has been determined by whether I have filthy sodden clothes from going down a slip-and-slide multiple times.

There is two items that definetly determine laundry: T-Shirts and underwear ^^ Socks...ok, those I can bear to wear another day, but anything else just screams "Wash me!"

It's kinda like Christmas. At some point you realize it's not Santa who brings the presents and it isn't some kind spirit moving the heap of laundry from it's designated spot in your room to the washer :P

For me, it was always a lack of clean pants that drove me to do laundry. I had plenty of everything else. Also, one nice thing about living at home again is that I can do laundry for free. "I can run the drier as many times as I want without having to pay again? Muhahaha!"

Well, freshmen and sophomore year, it was because I (everyone) had to pay, so the key was to make each load absolutely worth it.

Now, with my own washer and drier amongst my three roommates and me, I can do it more often.
