Mmm, ah yes. Fondue, from the French for "melted". Fondue refers to any manner of dishes consisting of either melted chocolate or cheese and dipping foods into them. One simply places the fondue pot with a lit flame beneath it in the middle of the table and all those sitting around the table take bread, vegetables, meat, fruits, or whatever they desire, skewer them on specially made fondue forks, and then dip them into the melted cheese or chocolate.
