BEFORE all you hardcore Halo players attack me for not playing Reach sooner - I was busy with homework, work-work, chores, and Halo Wars.

And before you RTS-haters attack me for playing Wars - I unashamedly like playing it and I'm totally on the road to getting all the achievements.

and so BTW the reason for this entry is that I LOVE the way that my Halo: Reach personal character is the one showing up in the gameplay and cutscenes.

REALLY LOVE IT.

The rest is kinda boring, and I stink with either a shotty or a snipe, but I haven't gotten very far yet.

GEORGE ROCKS

George IS awesome.

If you can accept that the game is a tragedy, I think you'll really love the story. It sucked me in so completely that I could not stop playing it after I put the disc in the drive.

I still need to beat Halo Wars...

*Jorge.

And yeah, I was also immensed in the story. Even when I preordered it, I knew that we would lose. I didn't care, I knew that some good had to come of it. Master Chief was leaving the planet (We knew that from Halo 1) and clearly humanity would survive overall, but I knew Reach had fallen.

I think the best part? Armor Abilities. I don't know about you, but if they patched in a gamemode where we could use more than one Armor Ability at a time, I'd be all over Hologram and Active Camo, or Jetpack and Armor Lock (Imagine jetpacking and having invincibility at once).

@Static Man - I can agree with you there!

@Black Six - Yes, you DO need to beat Halo Wars. If *I* can defeat it, you totally can.

@ Swert - You were *immersed in the story. And I'm pretty sure that's why you're only allowed to use one armor ability at a time. :P

It's Jorge, not George.

And Halo: Reach has one of the better Halo stories so far. Equal with Halo Wars, I'd say, and better than the original trilogy (good as that was). But maybe that's because I like tragedies.
