Emzee Posted December 9, 2010 Just reading that scalded my tongue. I imagine that's unbelievably tasty to those with taste buds of steel though. Sounds like you thoroughly enjoyed it. *And anyone who calls me a sissie will have to answer to Mr. Fist. *cracks knuckles* Quote Link to comment
Kevin Owens Posted December 10, 2010 I lived in Louisiana for several years. This barely even phased me. Quote Link to comment
EmperorWhenua Posted December 10, 2010 This sounds so... so... sooo... hot. In a bad way D: I'm part Spaniard, not Mexican! And yeah, I'm totally with MZ up thar. ~EW~ Quote Link to comment
Mysterious Minifig Posted December 10, 2010 I don't think I've had jalapenos before so I'm not sure I if would like that. It does sound pretty hot though. *insert emote shooting fire from its mouth like a dragon* Quote Link to comment
LehvakLah Posted December 10, 2010 Where's the recipe for that fajita rice dish you made when we were over? I want to recreate that in my own kitchen! Quote Link to comment
Bio D Posted December 10, 2010 I'll probably end up making it a bit spicier, but it looks really good. Quote Link to comment
Queen of Noise Posted December 10, 2010 Where's the recipe for that fajita rice dish you made when we were over? I want to recreate that in my own kitchen! Aw geez aw geez, I kinda just made that up for you guys as I went along! But it went kinda like this - First I boiled some chicken broth and started cooking rice in that. Then I put some vegetable oil in a skillet and cooked some frozen corn, a can of diced tomatoes, and a can of pinto beans in the skillet, mixing in a bunch of stuff - chili powder, parsley, black pepper, chopped onion, tabasco Once that was all heated up and blended, I put it in a bowl on the side and used the same pan to cook the chopped-up chicken. Now, it was already flavored a little bit when I got it (it was frozen, spiced fajita strips) but only mildly - the sauce seemed identical to stuff you can order called 'Virginia Roadkill Sauce.' I showered the chicken with paprika and chili powder while cooking it. Once it was done (the rice was done by this point, too), I mixed everything together in a big bowl and huzzah, instant dinner for you and Andrew and Josh! Quote Link to comment
Makaru Posted December 10, 2010 I made spaghetti sauce with Cajun seasoning last night. It fixes everything. I'm going to try to make this on the weekend. Quote Link to comment
