There was even an episode of the Magic School Bus where ice is shown to break rocks. I mean, Water and Grass beat both Rock and Ground, why not Ice? Nothing makes sense any more!

When I first read this blog entry, I was like "IT ISN'T?" and then I suddenly remembered learning that the hard way three times.

Rock is super effective against ice.

Ice will slowly expand and break apart rock. And rock will just sit there and do nothing, unless you pick it up and throw it. Grass will grow in ground, and water can freeze into ice.

What are these Poke-e-mon you speek of? A slang term for the elements?

I can top your example of Pokemon-related dumbness:

For the longest time, I thought Lugia was Water/Flying instead of Psychic/Flying and that Groudon was Fire instead of Ground.

I knew that, but I just thought it worked like Dragon/Dragon or Ghost/Ghost where a type that is affected by a certain type and it's also effective against it.

@Canama-I made the same mistake about Groudon, too. Only I was 4 at the time.

@Spirit-so, given this heinous grievance you have committed against the name of Pokemon...

I believe the Counsel of the Pokeymahns will devise an adequate punishment for you.

So, what should we do to Spirit, guys?

Turn him into an ice-type Pokemon!

Or...

We could strap him into a chair and make him watch educational videos on the effects of glaciers on earth. For, maybe, 10 hours straight.
