Yes you can use Twitter on BZP (in fact there's a BB code for it on BZP); unfortunately other social network sites aren't allowed.

Okay, cool! I won't be streaming my Tweets to BZP cause sometimes I discuss movies, TV shows, music that might not be BZP friendly. But I welcome people to follow me. I'll update this post with my handle.

I'd like to explicitly state (moreso than Aho did) that the first site you mentioned up there is banned to mention on BZP rules, even though, y'know, it's not in the word filter.
