My Poor English Book...

'tis filled with many sketches... all of them done in the 2 minutes when I've finished an exercise before the others and timne's not worth starting a real piece of art...   this one's actually my favourite. ^^

Today is one of those days when I really want to dress in as much black stuff, skulls and spikes as I can find and paint my face all intricate and dark. It is, however, also one of those days where I have to take an oral exam! And I always tend to tone things down for these occasions. so, uh...breakdown?

Today, for the first time ever, I had to halt the presentation I was supposed to be giving at about half of the time because some question from the professor threw me off so much I had the choice between a) staying there and crying (!!!) in front of the whole room or b) excusing myself and exiting the room. Well.. (general life update)

so far the "be more active on BZPower" part of my not-really-resolutions has been going well... not. :/ I could of course offer some excuses about life and stress and all the usual, but you must've heard that a thousand times from me by now. Thus, I'd rather focus on what's new, and general life updates.   As for one thing, my change in eating habits works out just the way I wanted; dropped one clothing size, so there's only one more to go for my stuff to fit me again, leading to a sudden increa

Art catchup

I realized that I hadn't scanned/posted anything since idk, July? Which is a pity, because summer is always a -slightly- better time for art.     Elves. Meanwhile, Giant Spider

Only found out yesterday that in Neverwinter Nights, mages can learn a spell to transform into several kinds of creatures, including a giant spider. Well guess what's my new favourite spell now. :3   (though, since you can't use any other spells while in spider form, it's more a "last resort"-kind of spell, or for when close combat is inevitable. today I remembered

... that I had a phase in high school where I really wanted to move more into a cyber goth-ish direction with my style. I mean, a part of me still wants to do so, because I find it aesthetically pleasing. Verily so, from the hairpieces to the frequent use of neon colours to contrast the tons of black. And the skirts. (the men's skirts, though. floor-length with tons of buckles. :3 ) And platform boots. Good stuff. Might look into those things again when my weight has stabilized, we'll see.   A

things I hate unreasonably much, pt. I

I hate getting my hands injured. Everywhere else is okay, but hand injuries cause me a lot more discomfort than what would be reasonable. :/   The cause for this entry is obvious, I guess... last week I had an unpleasant encounter with the door of a tram, causing a delightful bruise on my left hand, right at the base between the index and middle finger. (I kind of stumbled into the rail/handle on the door. The older trams in my city are weird.) And now it's greenish/purplish/blueish, and annoys

So, I finally got my bachelor's degree in physics! And it feels... underwhelming, really. I mean, on the one hand I am intensely proud, and glad that it's over, but on the other hand, it's nowhere nearly as spectacular as I thought it would feel - possibly because I just immediately continue with the master studies, but still... On the subject of tiny crochet monsters

So here's a typical thing I make instead of hanging around online for hours. This particular little guy was a gift for my sister, to accompany her to university and stuff (after all, I found out these things make perfect stress balls, and allow for perfectly silent fidgeting during lectures etc.)
