A really, really excellent set. Good price per part ratio, I believe it's the only set with Gollum (I wish he had an interchangeable Smeagol head) and it looks really cool. Definitely the best spider Lego has ever made. Now I need a Treebeard set of the same size that comes with Merry and Pippin.
My least favorite coworker (for so many reasons) called me Twinkle Toes today. I think it was supposed to be an insult but it didn't work very well in context. I took the nickname gladly. I think that upset him. B)
My Walmart stocked the purple 3DS even though it's not supposed to be out until the 20th. You can't buy it, of course, it's just sitting there. Taunting me. Booooo.
So the Walmart I work at got them in a couple days ago and last night I spent 45 minutes feeling bags and managed to get a whole set. I wasn't looking to buy all of them at once, but the one I wanted most - Riding Hood - was the one I found last, so whatwasisupposedtodo. Anyway, the Space Marine is my favorite and Bunny Suit Guy or Tarzan are my least. The Bride's cape is unique - I wish they made more capes with that material.
So... Going to Brickfair might not be significantly more expensive than going to Brick Fiesta. But I feel like it would be significantly more awesome. And also would give me a month longer to prepare. Also it seems like all of my BZP friends go there and I would love to meet you all for reals. Should... should I try to do this?
So I still really want to go to Brickfiesta, but I really can't justify spending so much money to go. I just can't. But! If I were to split hotel costs with someone I could maybe swing it. So anyone interested in going and also sharing a room?

ABSURD Just been herp derping. Anything notable happen while I was away? Mass Effect 3 was so awesome... until... well, you know. Still, I'm enjoying the multiplayer. So far I've unlocked Drell and Asari Adept, Quarian and Salarian Engineer, and Turian Solder. I loooove the Drell Adept. Just explosions everywhere.
I'd really like to go this year. Obviously it'll be easier than ever before, since I live in Texas now, and I'm about to start a full time job at Walmart (yay, only took me like four months to get hired somewhere) so I'll probably have money. I was just poking around on my majhost, looking for things to be ashamed of, and I found this. He is actually pretty cool for a combo model (he looks like I made him with Nivawk and Krekka, except maybe those silver Roboriders heads). Might sound like boasting but I'm mostly lamenting the fact that I'm not really satisfied with what I've been building lately. =/

Just got back from another (unrelated) job interview at Target (blarg I'm tired of this) I grabbed mouthwash (yay) and three blind bags. Luckily they were all unique, but still not Robot, Space Girl or Bandit. Got the Roman, Highlander and Skater Girl instead. Went to Target, got Rocka, Black Phantom, and the last five Series 6 Minifigs. Rocka looks a lot better in person than he did in any of the pictures I saw (even DV's). His color scheme works surprisingly well, despite containing gold, gunmetal, silver, bley, black and trans green.
