IC: PayigesThe bolt of lightning hit her in the back. She collapsed to the deck, but stood up again, her eyes turning black and emotionless at the sight of the Jovak. 'You..' she said upon seeing Eamerzon, her voice smooth, yet piercing. Her darker personality had taken over, refered to as Shadow-Payiges from now on. Shadow-Payiges raised the Scimitar, and incinerated the deck out from under Eamerzon with an electric blast. 'You should have stayed away.' Payiges could only watch helplessly as her body was manipulated by the dark being. She didn't want to kill the Jovak, she only wanted to forgive her. Instead, she was being forced to witness murder by her own hand. 'Die, Eamerzon, di-No!! I don't want this! I don't-But I do!' The two Payiges' struggled for control of her body. This was rapidly getting out of hand.

IC: Payiges Payiges silently electrified Yasurek's weapon, and, by extension, the being wielding it. She then turned and swung her Scimitar at his torso.

IC: Zealokan, PayigesHanging on the side of the Infernavika, battle raged all around the two Toa. 'I think it's time we interfered,' Payiges suggested. Zealokan grinned at the Toa of Lightning. 'Yup, let's do this!' And with that, the pair vaulted onto the deck of the ship. Payiges held her Scimitar to the back of Doomslayer's head. 'If you so much as flinch, I'll... well, let's just say it's not gonna be very nice for anyone involved.' She really wasn't that good with threats. Zealokan sprinted over to Lohkar, and held both Reverse Blades to his neck. 'Well, lookee what we have here. I'd recommend calling off your attack, lest I have to get my weapons dirty.OOC: Right, I'm going to put an OOC here, because people never seem to notice me when I don't have an OOC in my post. Not to mention I'm threatening 2 pirates here, and that's not really something that should go unnoticed. I'm just sayin'

OOC: I only just saw this. You can't swim to the Infernavika. We are several miles away from Ga-Koro.OOC: I was given no indication of the distance of the Infernavika from Ga-Koro. Anyways, Zealokan is able to increase his speed by absorbing kinetic energy from his environment, and distribute it to people around him (i.e. Payiges). With all those waves around to absorb kinetics from, he should be able to catch up to the ship no problem.

IC: Zealokan, PayigesAs the pirates berated Snelly, the two Toa continued to eavesdrop from the side of the ship. After a short while, Payiges asked Zealokan 'Should we interfere now?' 'No, no,' he replied. 'Let's just wait for a little longer. But I swear to Mata Nui, Snelly, if you reveal our position...'OOC: Go ahead, I DARE you to.

IC: Zealokan, PayigesThe pair met up back at the Dripper, and sat down at a table with some drinks. 'So, you get all the posters on the north side?' Zealokan queried. 'All of them. Not a single bounty poster in sight,' Payiges said before sipping at her drink happily. 'Right, so now Knidia's safe from anyone with a craving for widgets. Hey, on my run through the southern half of Ga-Koro, I saw a ship out in the bay, looked like a rumble on deck. Care to check it out?' She didn't really want to, but she enjoyed that last taste of battle, and she'd be doing some good if the shipmates were pirates. She chuckled, and replied 'Ok, let's head.' The two Toa finished their drinks, and went out of the bar to the docks.A stray projectile nicked Zealokan's shoulder as they approached the ship. 'GAAAAH!!! Oooh, that stings!!' He collapsed to his knees in pain, and Payiges struggled to support him. 'Keep moving, unless you want to have your head taken off!' He nodded in agreement, and they dived into the ocean. The pair swam until they were pressed tight against the hull of the ship. 'Ok, we should be safe for the meantime.' He moved his hand up to Payiges' mouth, a signal to be silent. They climbed up onto the hull of the ship, and peeked over the side onto the deck. There, they saw surrounded by pirates, a very familiar face. 'Snelly?!' Zealokan whispered in shock. 'Pirates. Oh, joy,' The Toa of Lightning complained, whilst unsheathing her Shock Scimitars.OOC: Edited due to information given to me FROM THE FUTURE!!! (See post below)

IC: Zealokan, PayigesJudging by the fact that Lantz was still talking, Payiges' attack had missed. She raised her Scimitar to make another strike, but Zealokan pushed her arm down. 'Look, let me talk to him.' He called out to the Hordika, 'Lantz, I think it's quite obvious that we don't like each other, so maybe it's best that we stop fighting and just leave each other alone. But that bounty is still bugging me, so I think I'm just going to go around and take down all the posters you've put up. And what are you going to do?' He grinned. 'I'll let you figure that out.'And with that, he took all of Lantz' kinetic energy, leaving him immobile, and took off sprinting, distributing the stolen energy between him and the Toa of Lightning. He yelled to Payiges 'You take the northern half of Ga-Koro, I'll take the southern half! Take down every bounty poster you find!' She nodded, and ran off towards Northern Ga-Koro. She found a poster, incinerated it with a bolt of lightning, and thought to herself One down, anywhere from one to one hundred to go.

IC: Zealokan, PayigesHe spoke in frustration at the persistant creature. 'You know, as much as I'd like to believe that-'The Toa of Lightning cut in, her normally-yellow eyes black, her voice emotionless. 'The Dark One talks with the Corrupted's voice. He seeks only to confuse you, then end you. A message to the island. a message that he is a god.' The colour returned to her eyes, and Payiges clutched her head in pain, screaming. She calmed down, and managed to raise a Scimitar in the direction of Lantz's head. 'Ha. Makuta, a god. What a joke.' The resultant lightning blast would've had the power to raze a whole block of huts. And it was going right towards the Hordika's face.

IC: ZealokanHe held out his hand, and tryed to absorb the Skakdi's kinetic energy, but too late. The ever-grinning creature rammed into him, sending him tumbling to the ground. Within seconds, he was back to his feet, Reverse Blades at the Skakdi's neck. 'Look, whatever-your-name-is, I don't want to hurt you, but if you keep this up, I might just have to. So I recommend getting out of here while you can. This Makutaspawn is trouble, so you could either leave, or help us take him down. Which is it going to be?'

IC: Zealokan, Payiges'LIAR!!!' He screamed in rage, before hurling the Hordika backwards with a kinetics blast.With Zealokan distracted, Payiges collapsed to the ground, able to move again. She tried to get upright, but could only manage to get onto her hands and knees. Those lightning attacks certainly put a drain on her. She could feel the darkness seeping away, out of her body. But then, it began to assemble, patches of shadow stopping suddenly in midair, only to be joined by more patches, like a jigsaw puzzle. The resultant being was horrifying. It was Payiges, but she looked... darker. Her armour's colour drained of colour until it was nearly grey. The real Payiges reached out to touch her, but her hand went through the doppleganger's leg. The dark clone smirked before speaking, its voice smooth, yet piercing. 'I exist only to you, Payiges. No one else but you.' She gave the Toa of Lightning a look that said see you later, before fading away into nothingness.OOC: This'll be interesting

IC: ZealokanZealokan didn't want this to go on any longer. 'Stop this!!' He yelled, extending both arms, freezing the two combatants by taking their kinetic energy. 'Right then. Now I think we're in a position to negotiate an agreement.' He turned to Payiges, who was struggling to regain movement. 'Hey, why so violent all of a sudden?' She tried to scream at him, but couldn't find the energy to. The Silver Toa then turned to Lantz, giving him just enough kinetics to move his mouth. 'Ok, buddy boy, I know you're working with the Makuta. Don't try to hide it, I can see him from time to time.' He shuddered at that. 'Look, I don't like you, and I think it's evident that you don't like me. So here's the deal; you stay away from us, we won't have to kick you three ways to the next full moon, you hear me?' He was sincerely hoping that Lantz'd accept his offer.

IC: Zealokan, PayigesWith Zealokan still unconscious, Payiges had no means of negotiating with the Hordika. Then an idea sparked in her mind. She placed her hands on the Silver Toa's chest, and jolted him back to the land of the living.'Woah! Woah woah woah! That was weird.' He stood up painfully, before clutching his chest and asking Payiges 'Care to fill me in?' She said hurriedly 'He says that he's doing the will of the Turaga.' He gritted his teeth and began to yell at Lantz, but stopped short when he saw a dark colossus standing behind him, it's Kanohi Kraahkan surrounded with an aura of shadow. Zealokan shook his head, but the vision did not disappear. The titan then seemed to merge with the Hordika's body, becoming one with him. 'He has the Makuta on his side,' he mumbled angrily. He yelled without stopping at Lantz this time. 'You do not know the will of the Turaga, only of your dark master!' As he shouted this, he held out his hand, and the Rhotuka fell to the ground, it's kinetic energy drained.Payiges absorbed her electrical energy from the downed projectile, but unbeknowest to her, the electricity had been tainted by the Makuta's shadow. It circulated slowly in her system, bringing out her inner darkness. She aimed her Scimitars at the Hordika, and unrelentingly unleashed blast after blast of Lightning.

IC: Zealokan, PayigesZealokan's lunge attack connected with empty air. Unfortunately, that empty air just happen to be filled with the lightning that Payiges had cast. He hit the ground, unconscious and convulsing.Payiges cried out in horror, before rushing to the Silver Toa's aid. She knelt on the ground beside him and shook him, trying desperately to wake him. 'Zealokan, Zealokan! Wake up, please!' Tears streamed down her face, the fact that she was responsible for this hit her like a sledgehammer. She channeled this emotion into power, and stood up, the electricity in the palms of her hands arcing all over the place. She held her arms up, aimed, and launched a blast the equivalent of the fury of a lightning storm at Lantz.OOC: A group of Hordika under the Makuta's command attacked and destroyed Zealokan's village before he arrived on Mata Nui.

IC: Zealokan, Payiges'Wait, you mean... the Hordika.....' He jumped up from his seat, and ran out of the bar. Payiges took a couple of seconds to react, before she too sprinted out of the bar. Quickly catching up to the Silver Toa, they kept running, trying to find Lantz. 'What's going on, Zealokan? Why are we in such a rush?' He shouted in anger 'Because if a Hordika posted that bounty, it has to be bad! That Toa, Knidia, has done nothing wrong! Lantz is only doing it for personal gain, or on the orders of a higher power. And I certainly hope it's the first one!' The pair ran through the streets of Ga-Koro, until they reached an intersection. There, standing a fair distance down the road, was the Hordika, conversing with a female Skakdi. And as much as he didn't like the look of the Skakdi, this Hordika needed to be taken out before anything worse happened. He sprinted down the street with lightning speed before he lunged towards Lantz with his Reverse Blades in hand, yelling to the Skakdi 'Get away from him!'The Toa of Lightning stared down the street at the events soon to unfold, then decided it was her turn to fight. Wielding her Shock Scimitars, she ran towards a long lamp post sticking out of the side of a hut, then, activating her Kanohi Calix, grabbed the lamp-post, swung forwards until she was upside-down, then let go, flew straight up into the air, showed off a little by triple-backflipping, and finally landed of the hut's roof. She aimed her Scimitars at the Hordika, and launched twin bolts of lightning at him, giving Zealokan and Payiges a twin-pronged assault on the corrupted Toa.OOC: It's SHOW TIME!!!

IC: Zealokan, PayigesThe Silver Toa waved his silver hand in front of Kirhika's face, still under the misapprehension that he was Lantz. 'Hello? I'm here about the bounty on Knidia.' He then noticed Lost, and more importantly, Twiak, sitting at the table. 'Gah! When did you guys get here?! The Toa of Lightning was confused. 'Who are these guys, friends of yours?' Zealokan replied bitterly 'Yeah, we're real close buddies.'OOC: Zedd, old buddy, old chum. I await your reply.

IC: ZealokanWith the Hordika gone, Zealokan and Payiges walked over to the table, and sat down opposite the being they thought was Lantz. 'Umm, hi there. I'm assuming you would be Lantz? I'm here about the bounty you posted.'

IC: Zealokan, PayigesWith no one willing to own up for the blast that nearly took their heads off, they decided to make their way to the Dripper, ducking and weaving through the street, desperate to avoid combat. They finally made it to the Dripper. As they entered, Payiges looked around and commented on the rundown bar. 'Yeesh, someone needs to spend a few widgets on this place.' Zealokan quietly chuckled to himself, then looked into a corner. He could see a being, presumably Lantz, conversing with a.... thing, half-toa, half-rahi maybe. This brought one word to his mind. 'Hordika.' He muttered through his now gritted teeth. The Toa of Lightning cocked her head in confusion. 'Hordika? What in Karzahni is that?' 'Toa gone bad. Savage beasts that threw the Toa Code out the window, along with their insanity. They were the ones who destroyed my-' he paused. 'Our village. Servants of Makuta.' Payiges lay a hand on the Silver Toa's arm, and said calmly 'Look, Lantz is over there, we'll just get the Hordika to leave.. He glanced back at the Hordika, then shrugged. 'Yeah, ok. I'll get us some drinks while we wait.' He stared into the Hordika's eyes, signalling for him to hurry up and leave, then walked up to the bar, dropped a couple of widgets on the counter, and ordered some drinks.OOC: Man, it's been ages since I've posted.

IC: Zealokan, PayigesAs the pair of Toa walked through the streets of Ga-Koro, they stumbled upon a poster someone had hung on a wall. Both quickly scanned over the poster with their eyes. Sponsored by Turaga Matau 'Are you thinking what I'm thinking?', Zealokan said with a grin. 'Ignore it and find an inn? I'm way ahead of you!' Payiges began to stride away, when she was stopped by the Silver Toa's hand on her shoulder. 'C'mon, Payiges, we'll be helping the village, and be making a few widgets on the side. You don't have your Mask of Charisma anymore, darling!' She sighed, then smiled. 'Oh, why not? I can't see the harm in it.' Right on cue, a projectle of some kind hit the wall, blowing a massive hole in it, and disintegrating the poster. Both Toa unsheathed their weapons. 'Alright, who did that?!' The Toa of Kinetics yelled.

OOC: Argh, school's been getting in the way of RPing, so I'm a bit late.IC: Zealokan, PayigesThe pair finally arrived in the floating village of Ga-Koro. He sighed heavily. 'So, now what?' Payiges put her hand to her chin in thought, and replied 'Maybe we should find somewhere to stay.' 'Good idea,' he said with a chuckle.OOC: Zealokan and Payiges open for interaction.

IC: Zealokan, Payiges After the traumatising events of yesterday, the pair retired to their inn room. They woke early the next morning, and were preparing to leave for Ga-Wahi. As they were about to leave, Zealokan realised that Payiges wasn't behind him. He poked his head into the room, and saw Payiges on her knees on the floor, holding the 2 halves of her broken Kanohi. He crouched down next to her and put a hand on her shoulder. 'Don't worry, we will get it repaired, I promise you that.' She clutched the pieces to her chest and whimpered. 'We can't. All the energy was drain out of it when it was shattered. Even if it was repaired,' she said, unsuccessfully holding back tears, 'it wouldn't have any power. And, and what is a Toa without their Kanohi?' She lowered her head, trying to hide that she was crying. The Toa of Kinetics took the fragments of the mask, and held them next to each other, as if they were a whole Kanohi. 'Who says it needs power? I've heard about the sport they have on this island, Kohlii. The winners receive a Copper Kanohi, powerless, to be used as a trophy. And that's just what this mask is,' he declared, hold the 2 halves up in the air, 'a trophy.' She glanced around to him, confused. 'A trophy of what? My faliure to even keep a single mask intact?' He turned to her and smiled. 'No. It will be a trophy of victory. Of the victories you've had, and the victories you will have.' She had to smile at this. He gave the mask pieces back to the Toa of Lightning, who held them close to her heart. They went downstairs, where Payiges nicked a satchel from a vacent table, obviously accidentally left there by a previous customer. She placed the mask fragments into the satchel, and she and Zealokan stepped out into the cold weather of Ko-Wahi, beginning their journey to the wetlands of Ga-Wahi. OOC: Zealokan and Payiges to Ga-Wahi

IC: Zealokan He was panicked, not knowing what to do. Then Sizin burst into the room and asked if they needed some assistance. 'We need to get her to a Mask-Maker! We need a mask!' He began breaking down in tears, then, he had an idea. It was crazy, insane even, but it just might work. 'Snelly, whatever your name is, both of you stay here, and keep her safe. I'll be right back!' He kissed Payiges on the cheek, then ran into Room 7 of the inn, and grabbed the Kane-Ra head from the wall. Dashing out off the inn, he headed in the direction of the Mask-Maker's forge. He burst in, and threw the Kane-Ra head into the furnace, waiting for it to melt back into raw Protodermis. He poured the molten metal into the mold of a Kanohi Hau, but made sure it had the powers of a Kanohi Calix. He grabbed the red-hot mask, and plunged it into a barrel of water. He pulled out the mask, a stunning light blue colour, and nearly ran out of the forge, when he remembered a most important detail. He quickly painted a white Lightning Bolt pattern onto the mask, identical to the one on Payiges' old Kanohi, and ran out of the forge to the inn. He burst into Room 6, standing above the unconsious Toa of Lightning. 'Please, let this work.' He placed the mask on Payiges' face. Nothing. Just as he was about to give up all hope, she sprang back to life. She cried tears of sadness. He cried tears of joy.

IC: Zealokan 'Quickly, help me get her to the Mask-Maker!' He hooked Payiges' arm over his shoulders, and hauled her up off the floor. 'Well, don't just stand there, Snelly, help me!' He was on the verge of tears. C'mon, Zealokan, be brave, he told himself. He was not about to lose her again.

IC: Zealokan, Payiges She couldn't hear Eamerzon and her prophecy. She couldn't hear anything. She could only focus on the gaping crack in her Kanohi. She began to whimper, then, in a flash of light, the mask shattered, the 2 halves falling to the ground. She suddenly felt very weak. She also felt her powers welling up inside of her, begging to be released. Lightning jumped around the room, released in a burst of electrical fury, the Toa of Lightning screaming. She fell to the ground, limp, unconsious. 'No!' He rushed over to Payiges' limp form, picked up the pieces of her broken Mask of Charisma. 'You fool.... WHAT'VE YOU DONE?!' he shouted. He then heard Snelly yell for him. 'Oh, thank Mata Nui! SNELLY! HELP!!!', he yelled back. He turned back to Eamerzon and gave her a cold stare. 'Get away from here. Far away. And never come back.' OOC: Turns out Payiges isn't allowed to use the Mask of Charisma, so I've turned it into a storyline. Pretty clever, huh?

IC: Payiges 'Eamerzon, I'm not a fool. I know you're lying.' She then did the unthinkable, and rushed over to the Jovak, held one of her Shock Scimitars to Eamerzon's neck. 'Why are you following us?' OOC: Snelly, I'll get to you in a bit, but I need to let this scenario play out. This bit takes place before you arrive at the inn.

IC: Zealokan, Payiges Inspecting the room, Zealokan saw the Kane-Ra head mounted on the wall between the beds, and whistled at it, impressed. 'Man, who ever managed to bag this thing must've been one brave son of a-' 'It's fake,' Payiges interrupted. He cocked his head to her and raised an eyebrow. 'Huh? How can you know that?' She walked over and tapped the Kane-Ra's jaw. 'The inscription on it's tooth.' He walked over and looked at it's biggest tooth. 'Made in Po-Koro. Hmm, who would've thought?' They heard the door of the room next to their one slam. 'Seems we have neighbours. Shall we introduce ourselves?' The Toa of Lightning shrugged, and said 'Meh, it couldn't hurt.' They left Room 7 and knocked on the door to Room 6. When no reply came, they opened the door, and saw the familiar face of Eamerzon, the Jovak. Payiges was somewhat surprised. 'Eamerzon? I thought you were down in the caves. What're you doing here?'
