IC: Zealokan, Payiges He spun around to Decaia. 'Well, it's good that we're at an agreement. Hopefully I won't be seeing you around.' He turned back to the counter, to get a room in the inn. 'Yes, hello. I'd like a room, just for the night, so me and my friend here can recuperate.' The inn owner, a Ko-Matoran, looked at them with a look that said "Are you kidding me?". 'Well, you got 20 widgets handy?' Zealokan placed his hands on the counter in frustration. '20 widgets? That's robbery!' The Ko-Matoran gave him a quizical look. 'Look, buddy, I don't just give people rooms for free, ya know. How am I supposed to maintain this place without a little income?' By this point, Payiges was getting annoyed, and so decided to interrupt their negotiations of prices. 'Ummm, excuse me, but we'd like a discount,' she said, staring into his eyes, using her Mask of Charisma. 'Something along the lines of, ummmm, 100 percent?' The mask had immediate effect. 'Uh-huh, sure, here's your room key,' The Ko-Matoran said, handing them the key to Room 7. The Toa of Lightning plucked the key out of the inn owner's hand, and said 'Thank you,' with a smile. They walked to their room, and the Zealokan grinned at Payiges. 'Sometimes, I love that mask.' OOC: If the inn owner is a BZPRPG player, I apologise profusely.

IC: Zealokan 'First off, don't call me Zeal. Secondly, in all honesty, I don't want to fight you again,' he said, holding out his hand to shake Decaia's. But before he did, he snatched it away. 'Buuuuut, I find your methods and ideas unorthodox, against the Toa Code, and my moral code. So you know what? No deal. Just get out of my sight.' And with that, he turned away, and to the counter, to get a room for him and Payiges.

IC: Zealokan, Payiges As they entered the inn, Zealokan immediately unsheathed his Reverse Blades. 'Get behind me.' She looked confused. 'Why? What's going on?' 'An old friend,' he replied bitterly. But who's the other guy? He'd soon find out. He walked over to the thieving Toa of Water, Decaia and the other being, the Baron, just as the Baron yelled in pain. The Toa of Lightning was nervous, so she unsheathed her Shock Scimitars, just in case things got ugly.

IC: Zealokan, Payiges The pair walked through the village, trying to find accomodation, until Zealokan stopped in his tracks. 'What is it?' Payiges inquired. The Silver Toa only smiled. 'Well, we're in Ko-Koro. Should I go now, or have you changed your mind? The Toa of Lightning looked at her feet, then looked at Zealokan and smiled. Just a little smile, but a smile none the less. 'I guess you could stick around a bit longer.' Zealokan chuckled, and said 'It'd be my pleasure.' They then walked into the nearest inn. OOC: Last post for tonight. Goodnight, guys

OOC: Oh noes, Decaia's back IC: Zealokan, Payiges They awoke a short time later, the fire having burnt out, the snowstorm having died down. Zealokan stretched just as Payiges woke up. 'Ahhhhh, good morning. How'd you sleep?' She looked at him with a blank face. 'Yeah, fine.' He looked at her with a certain worry in his eyes. 'I can tell you've been crying. Is there any way I can help?' She turned away from the Silver Toa. 'No. Let's just get to the village.' 'But-' 'But nothing. We have to get to the village before another storm hits.' As much as he wanted to help her, Payiges had a point. They left the alcove, and after an hour of trekking through the snow and ice, the Toa of Kinetics and the Toa of Lightning arrived at the village of Ko-Koro. OOC: Zealokan and Payiges open for interaction

OOC: Looks like I just missed out on the party! IC: Zealokan, Payiges They stumbled through the snowstorms together, until it was hard to stand up from the cold. The pair found their way into a small naturally formed ice alcove, to shelter from the storm. 'It can't be far to Ko-Koro from here.' He groaned in frustration. 'Looks like we're sitting this one out.' Conveniently, there was a bundle of dry wood in the alcove with them. The alcove could've been a traveller's stop. Zealokan set to work building a fire. After a while, the Silver Toa was trying to light it by rubbing 2 sticks together, but to no avail. Payiges merely rolled her eyes and sent a spark towards the fire, simultaneously lighting the fire and causing Zealokan to jump backwards. She couldn't help giggling a little bit. 'You're welcome,' she said, before bursting into full-on laughter. Zealokan couldn't help but laugh along. When they both finally calmed down, Payiges spoke up. 'Please, tell how your village was destroyed.' Zealokan sighed heavily, and started telling the tragic story. 'Well, I wasn't there for it. If I was, I could've save them. I was out hunting, for the village. When I was returning, someone, or something attacked me. When I woke up, I was being held in place by the Makuta, and he made me watch my village burn. Made me watch you burn. It was horrible. The way I see it, there was 3 steps to it. There was the burning. Then the screaming-' 'And then the silence.' Payiges cut in. The Silver Toa pulled back into the alcove in surprise. 'What did you just say?' She stayed quiet. 'Payiges?' 'Hmm? I said nothing.' Zealokan once again approached the fire. 'Okay....... right, we should probably get some sleep.' He lowered himself to the alcove floor. 'Goodnight, Payiges.' 'Goodnight, Zealokan.' And with that, they both lay down, and said no more to each other. She knew that she had said something. She knew what it meant. She knew that she lived a past life. She turned away from the fire, and silently wept. Finally, words escaped her lips. 'Why can't I remember?'

IC: Zealokan, Payiges The darkness felt almost constricting in the tunnels below Mount Ihu, as Zealokan walked through them, the unconsious Payiges hanging over his shoulder. 'Maybe the Turaga here might know what to do,' he said to himself. She awoke to find herself moving, her arms hanging below her, swaying from side to side with each footstep.What the... She looked up, and saw the Silver Toa carrying her. She began pounding on his back, kicking her legs in the air, and screaming 'What the heck are you doing?! Put me down! I said put me down, you Makuta-Spawn!!!' She felt herself violently drop to the ground. He picked her up, and gripped her by the shoulders. 'Don't you DARE call me that!!! Don't you dare label me as one associated with the person I want DEAD!!!' He heard Payiges start to sniff, and soon cry. He felt extremely guilty now. 'Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry. I should never have lashed out like that.' She turned away from him, and curled up on the ground, still crying. 'Take me to the village. Take me there, and leave me there. I don't want anything to do with you.' He looked at her in surprise. 'Payiges, you have more sense than this. You just woke up, with no supplies, and no memories. You're not ready to be on your own, yet.' She stood up right, and got right in his face. 'I don't have any memories because there was nothing to remember! Nothing happened before I woke up! I have never met you before today, and you claim I was in love with you?! Well, guess what, Zealokan? I don't! In fact, I hate you!' The Toa of Lightning slapped the Toa of Kinetics in the face. Those last words echoed in his mind more than they did in the cave. He couldn't believe it. When she started running, he snapped out of his current state of mind, and gave pursuit. With his powers, he soon caught up, and grabbed her on the arm. 'Let me go, for Mata Nui's sake!! Didn't you just hear a word I said?!' He turned her around, and looked at her. 'Payiges, just listen to me. You're being irrational, and believe me, I know where that can get people. You're not safe in these caves, I'm surprised we're not surrounded by Cybervortixx right now.' She struggled to get free, but he kept his grip tight. 'Just let me get you back to the village, and if you haven't changed your mind by then, I will adhere to your request, and leave you in Ko-Koro. Deal?' She looked into his eyes, and activated her mask, saying 'Let go of me.' To her surprise, he didn't let go of her arm. 'I said let go of me.' She was getting anxious. 'No.' He replied, to Payiges' infinite shock. He smiled, and said 'I conditioned myself to be immune to that Mask of Charisma long ago. You caught me off guard last time, so I obeyed, but now I can resist it. So, are we at an agreement?' She wasn't happy about this, but she had no other choice 'Alright, fine. But don't count on me changing my mind.' He smiled once again. 'Don't you be so sure.' They then walked together out of the caves, and into the blizzards of Ko-Wahi.

IC: Zealokan 'It can't be, because she's not newly made.' He crouched down beside Payiges' unmoving body. 'Hey, you ok?' No response. Then he had a realisation. 'I remember now, sometimes if she was really, really stressed, her power would climb to uncontrollable levels. We tried everything to help her, but nothing worked. Even the Turaga of Ve-Koro couldn't help.' He hung his head. 'That's why she's so shy. She keeps away from people, there's no one to say anything to stress her out.' He stood up. 'We can't leave her here, and we can't take her any further. You guys keep going. I'll take her to Ko-Koro, keep her safe. But that doesn't mean I've forgotten our deal, Snelly. You still have to help me bring the Makuta to justice.' He gave the Toa of Air a salute, and smiled. 'I'll see you in the village.' And with that, he grabbed Payiges, put her over his shoulder, and began the long journey back.

IC: Payiges She shuddered, half of the reason being it was really cold, the other half being the number of Cybervortixx they could be facing. 1,000,000? Why did I come down here? She wrapped her arms tighter around her, now fearing for her seemingly short existance. She held her hands out in front of her, and could see electricity arcing between her fingers, the crackling growing louder and louder. She felt her powers growing out of control, as the lightning began arcing onto the surrounding hallway. She clutched her hands into fists, and held them close to her chest, desperately trying to contain the energy. Instead, she fell to her knees, and the floodgates were opened, lightning pouring out of her hands into the hallway, electricity jumping all around the group, but never touching them, as if intentionally trying not to harm them. Then all turned dark and blurry, as she fell to the floor, unconsious.

IC: Zealokan He wrapped his arms around his torso. 'Brrrrr, why is it so cold down here? Why do the Cybervortixx need to be frozen?' The cave started to turn into a metallic hallway. 'Hey, Doc, I think we're getting close.'

IC: Zealokan, Payiges 'Where are all the Cybervortixx? You'd expect us to be surrounded by now.' the Toa of Kinetics inquired. A new inquiry came from the back of the group. 'Umm, excuse me, Mr..... Doctor, I think it is? You guys keep going on about these 'Cybervortixx' things. I was just wondering, ummmm... what exactly are they?'

IC: Zealokan, Payiges 'Thank you, brother.' He replied to Snelly, then moved back to Payiges. 'Are you ok back here?' She was really nervous around Zealokan, especially after their first meeting. 'Ummm, sure, fine, I guess.' She stared into his eyes, and said 'Would you mind moving back to the front of the group?' He replied blankly 'Sure thing', and did as he was told. When he got to the front, he chuckled to himself. He always hated it when she used her Mask of Charisma. Good times, he thought to himself.

IC: Zealokan Approaching the Toa of Air, he lowered his voice, and said to Snelly 'Yeah, sorry for...' he paused, then continued '...punching you in the face, back in Le-Koro.' He shrunk back into the group, relieved that the awkward moment was over.

IC: Payiges She unsheathed her Shock Scimitars. The Toa of Lightning was going to get her first taste of combat in these caves. She was hoping it wouldn't be her first taste of dying. And her last for that matter.

IC: Payiges 'Oh my gosh, I wish I could do something to help.' She really did wish she could do more for the crying Jovak. She wished she could do more in general. Instead she was stuck in a cave system deep underground with a group of people she didn't even know, and what's more, a Silver Toa who says she was in love with him in a past life that never happened. She sighed. If only she could do more. OOC: Could be last post for tonight. Might not be, though.

IC: Payiges She saw Eamerzon tearing up a little, and put a hand on her arm to comfort her. 'Awww, I'm so sorry. Why aren't there other Jovak on the island?'

IC: Payiges She walked alongside Eamerzon. 'It's nice to have a fellow Lightninger in the group. At least I know I'm not the only one around here. I mean, us girls have to stick together, right?' She gave a half-hearted chuckle, and turned once more to the Jovak. 'Oh, sorry, I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Payiges. Don't really have much else to say, as my life only started a few minutes ago.' She heard the Silver Toa's fist clang against the cave wall. Ignoring it, she continued. 'So.... care to tell me about yourself?'

IC: Zealokan, Payiges The party wandered deeper into the cave system, and the deeper they went, the more light they lost. 'Mata Nui, it's dark down here.' He made slow, deliberate movements, as to not bump into anything or anyone. 'Need a light?' Payiges said, addressing everyone. She proceeded to hold her hand out, her palm facing up, and summon a ball of Lightning, the strange brightness emitting from it shining all throughout the cave. Zealokan looked around, and said 'Thanks for that.' He flashed the Toa of Lightning a smile. She smiled back, and thought about how familiar that smile seemed. Maybe she was just tired, not thinking straight. She still thought the Toa of Kinetics was acting a bit strange.

IC: Zealokan He stepped forward. 'I believe this is my fault. I was the one who attacked the crystal, causing our Jovak friend, Eamerzon here to shock it, and you, Ariga. My apologies.' He raised his blades into a combat stance. 'Right, who's ready to fight some real Cybervortixx?'

IC: Payiges She rushed over to Snelly, and knelt down by him and Ariga. 'Do you think he's gonna be ok, whateveryournameis?' she said, slightly panicked. She wasn't used to people being injured like this.

IC: Zealokan 'Snelly, look out! He flipped over Snelly's head, blades raised in a striking position. He brought them down on the Cybervortixx's chest.

IC: Zealokan, Payiges Tagging along with the rest of them, she walked over to Zealokan, and said 'I want you to tell me about your past. Because if it's supposedly mine too, then I have a right to know, do I not?' He sighed, and began his tale. 'I can't remember exactly where, as I woke up with most of my memory gone, as well. But I lived in Ve-Koro, the village of the Kinetics people. We could control motion itself. Hunting, fishing, it was so much easier when we could just stop the hunt in their tracks. Once we had a ferry of visitors, tourists if you will, come to see the only village of Kinetics in the universe.' He looked up at Payiges. 'And that's when you came. It was love at first sight, really. For both of us. You decided to stay, to help our village. It was the biggest mistake you ever made. For 100 years we lived in Ve-Koro, feeding it, protecting it. But along with the rest of the village. I saw you consumed by fire, the flames of the Makuta himself. I tried to help, but I was too late. He killed you. But now you're here.' He managed to give a little smile. 'But you can't remember. Any of it. You said they were the best years of your life, and they're gone.' He saw the glint of silver out of the corner of his eye, and unsheathed his Reverse Blades. 'Hey, Doc! You seeing that there?'

IC: Zealokan, Payiges 'Yeah, I'm not entirely sure what a Cyberwhatchamacallit is.' She turned to Zealokan, and knelt down beside him. 'Look, I'm sure whoever this person, she was a, ummm, a great person.' She was no good at comforting people. He suddenly stood up, his eyes glaring with a bitter sadness. 'You should know!' He put both of his hands on her shoulders. 'What happened to you, Payiges? Why can't you remember?' She whacked his hands away, suddenly very annoyed, and shouted 'Because it never happened! These are the first few moments of my conscious life, and I have to put up with some crazy, deluded fool?!' She saw him sink again to his knees, and instantly regreted that statement. 'Awww, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to call you a fool, I've just been very stressed since I got out of the Canister. New environment and all, you know?' He slowly reached out and clutched the hilt of her sword. 'These Shock Scimitars. I forged them myself. A gift to you.' He looked into her eyes, hoping to see at least one flicker of recognition. Nothing. She said nothing more, and walked away, back to the group. 'This man back here seems to be very distressed. Does anyone know what happened?'

OOC: Ok, new character profile's up, and new character in 3,2,1. IC: Zealokan 'Ok, we should probably keep going that wa-Holy Mata Nui, what is that?!' He pointed to the light in the sky, which continued getting bigger and brighter, until it became apparent that it was in fact not getting bigger, but closer. Zealokan dived out of the way of the newly arrived Toa Canister, which would've crushed him if he was a millisecond slower. He managed to recover to a standing position just as the outside hatch of the Canister opened with a hiss, the hydraulics leaking smoke, shrouding the occupant. 'Great Payiges' spirit,' he said, using his former lover's name. IC: Payiges 'How do you know my name?' She replied, slightly dazed. IC: Zealokan, Payiges The Silver Toa stepped forward, both inquisitively, and filled with joy and euphoria that she was alive. 'Payiges? Is that you?' She emerged from the smoke, a being of blue and white, her Hau-shaped Mask of Charisma, blue with a white lightning bolt pattern on the left side of it, beautifully polished until it shone. Just as he remembered her. 'Yes, and you are?' Zealokan was too excited to answer her question. 'Ha! Oh, by the Great Beings, you're alive!' He pulled her into a tight hug. She was greatly confused, and very annoyed. She shoved him away, then unsheathed one of her Shock Scimitars, and pointed it at the Silver Toa's neck. 'Who the heck are you?' Realising he was being a bit weird, he stood away, but still excitedly ask her 'How did you survive the destruction of Ve-Koro?' She lowered her sword, and cocked her head to the side. 'Ve-Koro? What are you on about? Who are you?' He then lost all trace of positivity, and told her 'Payiges, don't you remember? It's me, Zealokan.' By this point he was losing hope. She stepped backwards. 'I don't know anyone called Zealokan. I don't know anyone at all. I just woke up here. Nothing before.' Zealokan sunk to his knees, burying his head in his hands. 'Oh, no. Oh, no. Oh, Mata Nui, this can't be happening!' She didn't remember him. She didn't remember anything. She turned to the others, and awkwardly stepped forward, unsure if these people were like the Silver Toa. 'Ummm, hi,' she said shyly. 'I was just wondering, ummm, because I've got no supplies or anything, could I, like, tag along with you guys?' She felt sorry for the one who called himself Zealokan. She thought he was remembering someone of the same name who had died. If only she knew. OOC: And yes, she is tagging along. Also, last post for tonight. Goodnight, guys
