I'd imagine Greg would say something about you making too many assumptions about this story based on the previous story. I'm not assuming anything, I'd just like to know how similar this universe is to the old one... though I suspect he'd only answer most of my questions with "I can't reveal things before the story team do". People are going to ask him a lot more questions which he won't be able to answer from now on, I think.

Eh... I look forward to reading Greg's explanation on how this new universe fits into the Bionicle "multiverse". From what I can gather from the video, both "Makuta" (Teridax) and "Ekimu" (Mata Nui replacement) are asleep, so that's new... but what's the deal with the Protectors? Where do the Toa fit into all this? Is there even anyone else on Okoto? Is Okoto on Aqua Magna? Is Mata Nui still a giant robot hidden under the sea? Too many questions that I hope to be answered soon...

I guess this confirms that they clip on at the sides of the head, cause I don't see an axle behind the mouth or under the scalp.

I don't know what's everyone's getting excited about. I thought the Bionicle booth was invite-only, and we had to wait for BZP or whoever got invited there to fill us in on what happens afterwards? That could take all day.

I heard that something word that was almost similar in spelling to Okoto is a New Zealand city, or something. Didn't the Maori come from there It's not just Okoto, they are fighting in the "mountains of Okoto". Fighting/living in a mountain setting is Asian-y culture generally. Also the leaked set names which we can't talk about seem to suggest this as well. I wouldn't rush to assume anything at this point, though. They seem to be aiming for an Asian/anime feel, but that's only a theory, and it could be wrong. Well, it worked wonders for Ninjago, so I wouldn't be surprised if they used some of the same themes in Bionicle as well.

Island of Okoto = eye-land of Okoto. How many letters in Okoto? Five. What year is #BIONICLE2015 confirmed for? 2015. Okoto confirmed for the eye of the third giant robot, after the MU bot and the prototype bot... so HL3 is confirmed, with the Mask of Creation as a promotional hat for use in Team Fortress 2. Calling it now.

That'd be pretty neat, but since the only part of SM that contains oceans is Aqua Magna (as far as I know), and we've explored all of that, I doubt that the island of Okoto is on the same planet. It's looking more like they'll be throwing ten years of story out the window, which is a shame IMO as I grew up with and enjoyed it.

So does this include high-res pictures of future sets without watermarks? Because if so, that's just ridiculous.

You're forgetting Dume, who we got in a set and was central to the 2004 story (even though he was actually Teridax in disguise for most of it). There were loads of other Turaga in the story too, but most of them weren't named and were mainly used to set up backstories for various characters.

Not necessarily. He says "I haven't seen anything online from any official LEGO source, just rumors", which is true. But if you look at Aanchir's screencap here.... ...Greg says that he wouldn't be able to confirm or deny BIONICLE's return, even if it was happening.
