  1. We are gonna roleplay a sporting exhibition match. On the internet. Best idea ever.
  2. IC: "Alright. May I?" Aurum said as he reached forwards and picked up the shortsword and the dagger, each in one hand, testing out the weight of the weapons. Neither were too light or too heavy; they didn't feel like it'd be a problem to swing or stab with, but they also didn't feel like they would crumple the moment any sort of force was applied on them. "Good weapons." OOC: How do people pay here? O.o
  3. OOC: Now to just get 5 more blades and Aurum would be a Setsuna F. Seiei. IC: As a Toa of Iron, there was something about metal that could always click in an almost empathetic way. Whether it was actually due to his elemental power, or if it was simply just Aurum's instincts, there were times when he could somehow 'feel' the metal itself. For example, the hinges of a door, or the metallic scaffolding that is being used. It almost seemed like he could innately sense how badly done these works of metal were; to feel the stress of the metal as it suffered under pressure due to the idiotic calculations of an architect, to feel the rust of a door hinge after it has been used for years on end, exposed to the elements without so much as a coat of oil to keep the iron from turning into red...waste. There were also times, though, when you could similarly feel how good a metal was. No, not just good; amazing. Good would apply to the blades and shields that Aurum could conjure up in the middle of a fight to switch up his combat style, to get the better of the opponent by changing weapons, strategy and tactics. Amazing would be the ornate weapons used by the highest calibre of the guard, the greatest of warriors.......the gifted of Makuta. And the weapons in front of him that he now felt......were amazing. And that was before he even laid eyes on the weapons. Two blades, dark in color but thus made deadlier within the guise of the shadows. The edge was thin and marvellously crafted, and the blade itself looked like it could go through ###### and still be a potent weapon to use for killing others. Looking at the blade in such a pure and untarnished form, you could almost imagine using them, feeling their blades cut through flesh and bone like cleaving through water. It would be clean, easy, yet threateningly dangerous. If anything, this was Aurum's gift from Makuta. And he couldn't ask for more. Although he remained passionless, he gave a nod to Stronin. "A fine craftsmanship indeed." Credit given where credit was due. 2 weeks of waiting? Worth. "Uhhh....Is there a...sheath?"
  4. OOC: Huh i missed it O.o my bad IC: "Alright," Aurum muttered, before proceeding to take a generic look around to see if there was anything else that might be useful in the shop, and also just so he didn't stand around doing nothing and feeling awkward.
  5. Legit? Ossim. This'll be like catching up to stuff without reading, which is great, but then sometimes there's gonna be Tyler's and Hubert's voice in it which is better.
  6. IC: What time is it? Two weeks. Aurum blinked. His hadn't kept his mind on it, but just about two weeks had passed since he'd gone over to the blacksmith's forge and asked for a custom-made weapon. He didn't really remember what the weapon was, but nonetheless he remembered that it'd be a good weapon, and for that reason he decided to take a walk back to the forge and take what was his. After a walk through the village, he stood at the steps of the store once again. The last time he was in here, there'd been some adventuring cool dudes chumming around. Hopefully he wouldn't have to withstand the same torture again. Without bothering for a knock (Did people knock on the doors of stores?), he opened the door and stepped in.
  7. OOC: Err....Where's Stronin right now? O.o In [his] forge? Or not in his forge? IC: What is boredom? Is it a lack of things to do? Or is it something else? Is it really a feeling that comes from a greater purpose about to be unveiled? After all, people speak of Destiny as one of the three virtues, and blindly place their faith and lay down their lives into and for Mata Nui, their oh-so-great deity who watches from the heavens above, who uses mortal lives as chess pieces against the great evil that is Makuta by making them chop wood, smith steel and jail each other. Or something like that; he wasn't exactly sure how it worked now that Makuta was kind of gone. Still, it was a question that knacked at Aurum's mind for quite a time, who had spent the last five minutes occupying himself with seeing if he could create dense enough spikes under his boots that would be able to leave one heck of a footprint even on the solid ground of Ta-Koro, one heck of an injury on the foot of an innocent, yet still remain comfortable, as though you were walking across the wet beaches of Ga-Koro, with the soft sand literally crumbling beneath each step you take. In his mind, there were two possibilities as to what boredom could be. A. That feeling of nothingness due to nothing of substantial interest within your life, perhaps because your duty has been yanked away, your unity was never there anyway and your destiny just sucked quite a bit, leaving you with absolutely nothing to do to spend all your time. Or, B. The magnificent moment where you realize you have a greater calling, that you aren't fulfilling your potential, that you haven't found your duty, achieved your unity and followed the path to your destiny, and it is Boredom that becomes the conch horn that calls you from afar to follow your one true journey. If it was A, then Aurum wouldn't be surprised. Life wasn't fair. In fact, life sucked. There'd been nothing to do for the past few weeks. Apparently, somewhere in the town something had exploded, and there had been a few fights some time prior, but Aurum had no interest in them whatsoever at the moment. It wasn't like he knew anyone who was blown up or killed. He wasn't even sure if anybody WAS killed. That was boring. Nothing interesting seemed to happen - it was almost as though every person on the island had a metaperson, diving being, supreme entity or whatnot preventing them from ever having really bad things happen to them physically only to allow them to suffer from fates worse than death mentally. But if it was B, then did the Toa of Iron had a new calling somewhere? He'd spent past time seeking ways to release his anger. Makuta gave him a chance, and he took it. The days of robbing matoran and throwing them in caves, attacking silly paramilitary organizations and generally causing a havoc to ensure a world order were great fun, being 100% not boring, but since the climactic battle at Kini-Nui, where he'd watched the fight between Echelon and Joske end with a bang, life had since become dull. The last he'd seen of Echelon was when the Toa of Magnetism had hobbled back into his impossibly large ice cave with a limp (That must've been boring, having so much space and not much to fill it) alongside the brute of a manservant, after which he'd left, a Dark Toa not exactly being the type to being roommates. Aurum paused both his train of thought and this foot. The hole he'd been digging into the ground was now about a foot in diameter, and looked like a putrid wart after it had been smashed by a gauntlet. Man. Life was getting boring. This sucked.
  8. IC - HP: 10/20 "Okay, maybe I don't have as much health. Huh." I promptly lifted my leg for a swift kick to Zakaro's groin.
  9. IC - HP: 18/20 "Welllll this is all great and stuff," I muttered, before walking over towards Zakaro and muttering 'Hi'.
  10. OOC: Finally gonna re-join the activities of the Infernavika :/ Also, Hubert/Fabulous Sunshine, remember a few months ago when one of my characters asked Stronin to forge a weapon, and Stronin said 'come back in two weeks? :3 I was wondering if I could pick that weapon up now. If there's any problems with this post in relation to timeline stuff, PM away. IC: Aurum looked around, unsure of the happenings that were taking place. * * * On the deck of the Infernavika, Floria grunted at the sight of the few ships as they rounded the corner. From a glance, she could instantly tell that the ship wasn't anything new - the woodwork clearly shows evidence of a long tour on the seas. She didn't seem as though she intended to slow down at all as the sailors - pirates - on that ship led her bow in the direction of the Infernavika and the Fowadi. Wonderful. More rum.
  11. OOC: There are still particles in a fire. Lightning hitting particles does stuff. Dunno what stuff, but it does stuff. I'll get a post up soon.
  12. except it makes the user a prime target lol
  13. IC - HP: 6 I watched as Vox landed, and raised his rifle staff at me. "Hey, Daedalus? Do you have that concussion blast thing, still?"
  14. ohyahlol IC - HP: 6* I brought up both of my swords to fend off the sideways swipe that Vox initiated, deflecting it. I saw Daedalus flank Vox and attack, and Vox promptly turns his back towards me in order to deflect his weapon. Now wide open for an attack, I quickly did a move that resembled Skyrim's dual wield power attack - a bunch of horizontal slashes, whipping towards Voxumo.
  15. IC - HP: 17/20 Seeing a geyser of water rushing towards me, my instincts took over and I quickly rolled out of the way, whether or not Ehks responded with a shield. I quickly get back up to my feet, ready to fight against Vox's staff (Gah, there's no end to his weapons). However, even as he advanced, I caught the sight of a Chro knocked forwards by some attack in the corner of my eye. Deciding I may as well take a look as to what happened, I quickly manoeuvred my position so Vox would (Hopefully) end up swinging his staff right into Chro's face.
  16. OOC: Got on, had 1337 notifications. Also, your powers are fine. Mine just synergizes well. IC - HP: 17/20 I watched as Pulse died, which I thought was kinda funny. Okay, it was hilarious. Suddenly, I felt a pain in my chest, and recognized it as some form of life steal. Looking for the source, I noticed Vox using his Scythe of Destiny (-10), as well as firing a few of those bullets that I still don't really understand the structure of. In any case, there wasn't exactly any cover other than if I fell face flat, and I wasn't exactly keen to do that considering I was pretty much smack-dab in front of everyone who wanted to take a bite at me. I quickly activated my own power, energy gushing through my veins and skeleton, empowering me enough to do everything better. With a keen eye, I unsheathed my swords and deflected a few of the bullets from directly hitting me, although I certainly wasn't able to stop a few others from grazing me (-1). I let the energy rush die out as I used it, and retreated, throwing a snowball at Vox's face as I did for the extra distraction before I ended up beside Ehks.
  17. IC - HP: 17/20 (Next day, durp) Somebody hit me in the face, knocking me backwards onto the soft snow. Looking up, I noticed a bunch of Pulse's running around me in some attempt of trickery. I guess it didn't go that well for him when he stopped, Daedalus having come up and pretty much slashed through all the clones to hit the real Pulse. Cool. As Pulse retreated, I watched him raise what I assume to be a plasma cannon, considering what he'd said earlier. Picking myself up, I quickly absorbed the energy inherent within the plasma, leaving the gas....well, a gas, I guess. OOC: Considering plasma is pretty much gas which has been pumped so full of energy that bits of the molecules have been ripped off, and my ability is energy absorption.....yeah.
  18. IC - HP: 18/20 While Chro might've been too far up in the air for me to drain all that heat energy quickly, the fireballs that he hurled downwards wasn't, and before they even touched Shadowhawk I'd already absorbed it. "So, what cohesive attacks do you think we can do?" I muttered as I walked over to Shadowhawk, although I did keep my attention on Chro, who himself was calling for his teammates as well.
  19. OOC: No one counting cold damage makes it so hard IC - HP: 18/20 I shivered from the cold, and noticed as a cache of Firebombs dropped out of nowhere. I was tempted to take it and warm myself up, but figured that there was something better I could use it for. With a snort, I picked up one of the firebombs, and promptly hurled it at Chro.
  20. Right. Announcement(ish), for those who decide to read this post. I've got IGCSE's, and I'm also a very lazy person, and mixing a large number of exams together with an idiot who honestly needs to revise some more is a mixture that's either gonna come out with a miracle or go out with a bang. Or something. Aaaanyways, what this means (Although lets be honest, my impact on the game at this moment is pretty low, and I'm due in a few posts for a few characters) is that my activity is gonna go to just about nothing around here, (:3 If it was anything before) at least until the end of June, when exam leave + no more exams means funstuff happens. Until then, cya. (Feel free to bunny my character(s) on the Inika as well. Try to keep him true to his character too.)
  21. IC - HP: 19/20 Noticing that Zakaro was now shooting some stuff at Chro, I split my attention for a moment. Either Chro was gonna get hit in solid form, or do something that, being solid, we could take advantage of, or he was gonna turn into fire. Hmmm. I wonder if I could absorb a Chro.
  22. OOC: Oh wow wrong team :'( Vol 1 was disappointing. Hope Vol 2 is better.... IC - HP: 19/20 Oh wow. This map again. As we were thrust into a world of snow white coldness again, I quickly looked around to get my bearings straight. Ah, teammates, great. First thing I noticed was a fireball hurling towards me. Without hesitation, I absorbed the attack like it was nothing. Looking over to a source of commotion, I noticed Chro and Infernum duking it out with Ehks and Zakaro. "Right," I muttered, even as I noticed one of the larger fireballs fly into the air. Recognizing the figure, I sighed. "Hey, whatsup," I muttered as I quickly leapt to the side as Chro solidified, hurling towards me in some kind of shounen anime attack. Rather than engage him immediately, I decided I may as well go help out Ehks and Zakaro. Chro having meteor-impacted into the snow, I quickly shuffled away, towards where my allies were fighting Infernum. A few strides away from Johnny Storm, I quickly slashed at Infernum's face with one of my swords.
  23. I wonder what's this other game you wish to host
  24. IC: JL "Oh, sure." Rather than let myself be swung into the bricks, I instead activated my power. Energy radiated within my body, and within milliseconds both I and Zakaro could tell I was now the stronger one here. The lead dancer. My hands held his arms like a vice grip, and I in turn tried to swing him around. So that turned into two Toa, hugging each other, briefly using surges of strength to try and overpower the other. Probably looked very weird, like some kind of....tickle contest.
