  1. Ah, I see Gen 2 is more compatible with your art style too. Awesome! :3

Tahu looks great, and I like the way you added a visor to the mask. The texture of the armour looks great too. And the fire. Fire is something I can never get right when working digitally, but yours is so pleasantly stylized.

This is cool, and it would be great to see you around more again! =D

    Thanks Takia :)

Yeah the fire was pretty hard for me too, but I'm glad abou the outcome

  2. Sweet! You did something for Gen2! Anyway, this really does look like a rush. Tahu clearly looks ready for battle with his pose and ignited hands. By the way, the Hau is amazing.

Once again, you did an amazing job! I'm glad to see you're still drawing Bionicle!

Thanks man, this is actually my second Gen2 piece, I'll edit this post with a link to it in a second.

Anyway yeah, I'm planning to stay active on here with some BIONICLE art here and there, been a bit preoccupied with original content offsite, but back in action now

  3. With the Adrenaline forms being added to the Toa/Masters, I finally decided to get some art done of Tahu ((2015)) with his Golden Mask going into Adrenaline mode, and here it as. Now as per the norm with my BIONICLE Art, its anime/humanized, but I placed the mask on so that way it looks BIONICLE as much as possible in my style.

  4. I'm usually not a fan of anime or "humanized" Bionicle artwork, I really like this. It captures the spirit of the old set(s) and looks really amazing!

Thanks a lot, makes me really happy to see people are liking it despite the humanization :)

Love the projection of old Tahu patting new Tahu on the shoulder. Since I'm not a big fan of Bionicle "human" artwork, this didn't have quite the effect I think it should have had on me. But regardless, it is a solid piece of art with a distinct style and has the right idea about literally passing the torch.

Yeah I can understand why, and I bet not everyone will have the same feeling I want them to have, but regardless, I'm glad you enjoyed it for what it is, so thanks a lot :)

Well, far more pleasing than almost every other human-Bionicle drawing I've seen recently. Good work. :P

    Glad you think so XD

  5. Both Zaktann and Turaga Vakama are amazing. I am especially fond of the latter because you're breaking away from the archetypical face you use for many of the characters, yet still stay true to your art style. :3

And Zaktann is simply gorgeous. The face is incredibly well drawn, and looking more menacing than the actual set. ^^

I'm really curious about the new directions your drawings have taken, with the long legs and large feet... it's certainly something different. :)

Oh hi there Taka! been a while :)

And yeah I'm really proud of Vakama and Zaktann, originally I was going to color Zaktann, but I added way to much detail and I kept screwing up on the coloring so I sort of dropped it ^^" but the other Skakdi will be just as menacing as Zaktann's

Yeah my artstyle certainly has changed over the years, especially since I found dA and have found a better place to put my art online

Also, latest image guys, sorry its a sketch, but I have something coming here to BZP soon

    Sibling Rivalry ((Tahu and Kopaka))

I decided to tolerate the human-bionicle morphs for a while, until I ran across your gorgeous Zaktan.

While I don't like the lizard-like tail that much, I think you captured Zaktan as realistic, I'll be it anime, as possible.

    Well done.

Yeah not many BIONICLE fans take too kindly to "gijinka"/humanized BIONICLEs very well XD

And thanks a lot about Zaktann. Quite frankly it was hard with him because I didn't know if I should go all out or keep it simple enough to draw a lot of, but then thanks to doing it more detailed, I think I found a perfect way of drawing BIONICLEs in Manga format

  6.

hmm, "bionicle" and "manga" haven't had the best relationship in the past, but looking in here, i can say you have totally pulled it off.

the tahu is sleek and nicely stylized, (though the flow is kinda interrupted by that awkwardly long piston on the leg, in my opinion. :0)

anyway, good job here, you seem to have a unique look and a great grip on proportion and posing, and i can easily see great things rising from this style. :u

    Thanks

I have been sketching BIONICLE in Manga style for a while offsite, and yeah its reaaaaally hard to make something like BIONICLE work in a Manga while keeping the biomechanical theme XD. Anyway, thanks and yeah, I'll admit that with Tahu I spent most of the sketching with the legs, and they don't look as perfect as the upper half, but yeah it looks good for what is shown XD

    UPDATE: New pieces of Art!

  8. IC: Zac

    Kinkerink. Kinkerink. Kinkerink.

The common noise heard from the garage was the kinkerink noise that was made when Zac used his wrench on the tires. He and his father owned a garage near the insitute, making sure Zac was able to go while still being with his family close by. Sadly, after the events last year Zac was the only one to keep his abilities, making him the only Toddson now with mutant powers. His dad was busy getting lunch for the family while zac was watching the shop. Hannah was now in College, Caleb and Abi were homeschooled now and his dad had started meeting with a new girl. So far things seemed okay for the family but of course everything changes.

((I know there is a bunch of stuff in missing but I just wanted to get an intro post up))

  9. ....ugh I need to get back in this so sorry for dropping off my profile and not getting back ere.

Anyway this time i promise I'm back, my character is on page 2 and I already had one admin approve it, how many approvals must it have before I can post as my character again?

  10. Darkest Days
    Name: Zac Toddson
    Codename: Firespirit
    Age: 17
    Gender: Male
Loyalties/Faction: Xavier Insititute for Higher Learning
    Power(S):
-Pyrokenises: Zac can engulf any limb into fire, and now has the ability to create pillars of fire on his own thanks to his father.
    Appearance:
Zac reaches a height of 6'01, now passing over most of his family. He still has that skinny and lanky build, if not a bit more muscular in some places, Zac has white skin, brown hair and hazel eyes. He dons a pair of goggles much like his father did, and even now wears his dad's jacket, but wears a black t-shirt that has a red flame on it, and also wears a pair of black, fignerless gloves. He also wears a pair of ripped, blue jeans and wears grey shoes wiht white laces and aglets.
    Weapons: None
    Skills:
    -Invention:
    -Hot wiring
    -Reverse Engineering
    -Extensive knowledge in fires
-A fighting style which consists of many fire punches and kicks, using his control over fire. If anything, his best techniques in using his mutation is in melee/physical combat.
Personality: Zac has matured greatly since the events of Darkest Days, and it has shwon, from being a hotheaded kid, to a more mature and rational young man.Zac is a kind and caring young man, who is very sympathetic towards others. He can be laid back and reserved, but he will got off his rear to get the job done, and has shown a eccentric side to himself several times. He also appears to think of everything as a master piece, and is often descriptive in his way of going about things, not always being straightforward and doesn't always think practically. He does his best to be an optimist, and can be rather witty and somewhat cheeky, but this can lead to some absolutely absurd statements or suggestions, either because of his eccentric nature or by his need to keep things on a high note. However, even he has his limits, and when he sees his views of justice being villated, he will relentless end whatever injustice occurs, though, this is accompanied with a feeling of sorrow and regret, and even he has own moments of sadness, but tries his best to hide them.
    Weaknesses:
    -Water Being one of them
-He focuses more on physical combat, and not to mention, his stamina is not as superb as other mutans
-A bit accident-prone, especially with his flames when enraged.
    Bio:
Son of ex-Brotherhood member Zacchaeus Toddson, Zac Toddson is the second eldest of four children, and so far, the only Toddson to keep his powers. Zac and his siblings were orphaned due to the mistsakes their father had made, and so, the four lived most fo their lives not knowing their father. Zac and Caleb discovered their mutant powers and were taken to the Xavier Institute, where they met many new people, and eventually joined the ranks of the X-Men. Their other sisters came after they had mutant powers as well, with Abi being a late bloomer.
Zac was captured with many other mutants, just as they were at a party he had planned an suggested, but unlike most, Zac was not tested on, and was kept in a prison keep along with Hank, but had no access to his powers. His brother even turned agaisnt him, but Zac managed to get free, along wiht other mutants and met a girl named Dawn, aka, Paramore.
Zac soon met his real dad, and learned about the origins of his powers, as well as got a chance to bond with the old man. The two formed a close relationship, but the fact remained that his father was a part of the Brotherhood, but never told Zac then or now. His father would come in often whenever he could, and even gave Zac and his siblings gifts around christmas time. It was a secret relationship at the time, until his father eventually decided to stay at the institute, and the family was reunited. That was, until things took a turn for the worse. His family lost their powers, with only Zac keeping his, making him the only mutant in his family now.
Currently, Zac is now helping his dad work on cars and bikes at a garage nearby the Institute, where he and his dad work together as co-workers.
