Kini-Nui. Place of Storytelling. Place of Secrets. Place of Darkness. And an Entrance To Other Worlds... in more ways than one. Indeed, this sacred place had more than one function, one that was few knew.

Few in the entire multiverse knew.

It began as a low rumbling. First dust began to fall, then small rocks began to come loose until a small earthquake was felt. Animals scurried away, birds flew off, and an uncomfortable silence befalled the place as the massive pylons began to glow with an errie, unearthly light. Suddenly, from these pylons arcs of electical energy short forth, meeting in the center and creating a perfect, blinding ball of light. As more energy was pumped into the system the larger the ball grew, the more blinding the light until a massive, brillaint construct stood in the center of the sacred temple. There was a flash, slight boom, and as quickly as the portal came into being it vanished into nothingness, leaving three beings standing in its place.

They were unlike anything anyone had ever seen yet at the same time extremely... familiar.

"Have you the list?" spoke one, his voice deep and grave. The second nodded.

"Of course." he said with a bow, voice lighter and with slight reverence to the first. The third simply snorted, crossing his arms as he did.

"Let's just get this over with. Why the Powers That Be want with this messy myriad of characters together is beyond me, if not annoying. We have better things to do than to snatch insignificant creatures from their realm into another just for their amusement.

"Silence! You know our Master's will is above our own." commanded the first Weaver, clearly the seasoned leader of the group. "We do what we are ordered to do. Please, read the names."

With great reverence the second bowed and slowly unrolled a heavy scroll, lifting it up before him. "Behold the names:

    Pirok
    The Shadow
    Invisible
    Ignotus
    Incommodo
    Kraal
    Unknown Mystix, Water Breed
    Laz
    Reichenbach
    Kraan
    Incurso
    Frustro
    Nikarra
    Unknown Toa, Sonics Class
    Strave
    Stranax

May those listed be found and brought forth as has been decrees. So let it be written, so let it be done!" With a flourish he re-rolled the scroll and placed it back on his belt. The senior janitor nodded.

"We have our orders. Find them, bring them. Peace to you my brothers."

In sequential order the three disappeared in a stroke of lightning, no evidence or person to witness their passage.

I am a very nice person. Therefore, mere hours after posting the final chapter of Dark Mirror: Part I (and I am so evil, I already wrote the first chapter of Part II, I just don't wanna post it yet), I am posting a nice little preview of Part II. Enjoy.

But I miss being around people who hate me.
It's all wrong. It's like there's a certain balance I have to maintain. Too many people like me right now. I need a little hatred. It doesn't feel right otherwise.
You probably think there's something really wrong with me, but this is just how my mind works.

Yep, it's true. The title says it all. No point arguing, my mind is made up.

I am about to take a big step in what they call 'Growing Up'. I will be staying at home, alone, for the first time.
Which, basically, means that I can watch MLP:FIM in peace, without worrying about my parents or my little brother thinking I'm 'weird'.
I mean, how would they get that idea? XP

    Now now everyone, play nice

Paradox, In honor of your rather bad luck with your characters, once I'm fully back up to speed I will see to it that all of your charries have a string of unusual and rather hilarious mishaps befall them. Sound good? I'm thinking of something that involves a catapult, feathers, fifteen tons of tree sap, and a bouncy ball.

Partially because I'm nice, and partially because I want to prove that I'm not re-using old characters, I have for you images of all the currently built characters who will appear in I am Dave:

    Dave

The series' protagonist and titular character.

    Brian

Can't tell you anything about this guy.

    Phil

    Dave's pet BUG.

    HAL

There's a red Zamor behind that eye, in case you don't already get the joke.

    Jim

... Okay, this guy's obviously a villain. No point lying about that. XD

Anyhow, I still haven't found those sound files, so unless I find them soon, it may end up a comic made up of photos rather than a stop-motion animation. XP

It has come to my attention that someone claiming to be me has plagiarised my epic (Shadows) and posted it on another website, claiming to be me, and even going so far as to copy my name.
This brings me to the main point of this blog post:
People, what is the point in plagiarism? How can you live taking credit for work that is not your own? How can you stand knowing that, any time you receive praise you are not truly being praised? Why plagiarise in the first place?
Why not stand back, and admire the other person's work from a distance? Why not work on your own writing? And, if you can't write, why not find some other talent?
But don't steal others' work and claim it as your own. It is stupid, it is immature, it is downright disgusting. I think I speak for all writers that have been plagiarised when I say DON'T DO IT.

I'm putting this in BIONICLE, but...
    BRICKSHELF IS DOWN!

Well, that's not entirely true; But all the files have disappeared. Why, Mata-Nui, why? The one day I start making a lot of MOC's!

Alright, so if Rahkshi attack and we know they're swarming the island because it's in the game's backstory, we're screwed.

In that case then why hasn't Makuta destroyed the Koro's defense forces, subjugate the Matoran with Rahkshi overlords, and call it a day? You've already expressed that you don't like the whole "Mata-Nui as a giant robot" thing so obviously that's not Makuta's plan of taking over the Matoran Universe and using the power of the Universe to subjugate the Matoran.

Where Makuta stands now is perhaps the best he's going to get. The Matoran fear him. He's already unstoppable and can be everywhere at once. Even if the Toa Mata are keeping him personally at bay for the last 100 years he still has plenty of Rahkshi to keep the Matoran in line. Obviously there are enough evil PC's to run interferance against the good PC's to keep them from keeping the Rahkshi AND Rahi at bay.

If the Koro's can't defend themselves then tell me... WHAT IS KEEPING THE RAHKSHI AND RAHI AT BAY?

Now if there is some overarching plot for a goal we don't yet know about that's fine but Makuta doesn't strike me as stupid and let an oppertunity for a swift decisive victory to pass. Now seems like a good time to me. Let the Rahkshi loose to push the players back and follow up with evil PC's and more Rahkshi to subjugate the villages. End Game.

The most logical solution I see here is that the Military Forces of each Koro are large enough to make such an invasion not worth the gain as too many Matoran would die resisting their oppressors and that's not what the Makuta wants. Even then, military would make up even logically half the population as not everybody wants to serve full time. Mortality is a very key factor in survival instinct.

If the population is not large enough and you are certantly limiting it, then what is keeping the Makuta from striking while the iron is hot? It can't be taking over the universe the way he did in canon because you don't like it. It can't be the Toa Mata because he's still acting through agents, infection, Rahi, and Rahkshi. Right now the only thing that would cause him (and me) to balk is the sheer numbers of fighting Matoran ready to die for the cause.

So... what's your call on that?
