I.C. Chantis, toa of earth, entered the room. Ah. Kotahk. I see you have paid for your guarding insufficiencies by tracking down the Vortix. I.C. Kotahk "Yes sir. Here he is." Kotahk handed over the jittery Vortix to Chantis, who gave Kotahk a large bag of widgets to be split among those who had helped neutralize the Vortix.I.C. Chantis"Good. Now I can be rid of you, as you are of no more use to me. Take your widgets and begone. Except for you iron toa, I need you to unfuse Zenex's arms and legs."I.C. KranukaHow does he know Zenex's name? IC Dymiun set down the large crystal and blasted Raika with electromagnetic repulsion. Quickly, Raika telekinetically moved the crystal to her hand just as Dymiun blasted her through a wall. But now she had the crystal, and she was outside, and that was what mattered. She ducked out of sight, and, using the crystal to give her legs extra strength, she leapt onto the rooftop and hid in the snow covering it. No one would look up thereI.C. Kotahk finally finished spazzing and rushed outside. He didn't have to see her to know where she was. He could sense movement through the ice and snow. "There! On the roof!" he froze the roof over with ice, hopefully freezing her too.IC Raika blasted through the roof, dropping down inside, escaping with the crystal through a back door. Trying to retrieve the crystal, Dymiun climbed up onto the roof, only to discover that Raika was gone.I.C. Kotahk"She's a slippery one." IC "There are no footprints. She must have found a way to erase them. We'll never find her now." stated Botan.Raika stepped carefully, quietly, and quickly. She stepped exactly in the footprints she left when she arrived. Once she disappeared out of sight in a forest, she ran away.I.C. Kranuka "So, was Raika a member of your team? What's her history."I.C. Kotahk "If we know her motives, finding her will be much easier."

I.C. Vompran was unable to maintain consciousness through such a physical trauma. He expected that he would never wake up as his eyes closed. If he did happen to wake up, he would be a different toa.

But since arguments suck, let's just say he's stunned for a bit longer than a split second.IC: Kuhrin...An opportunity which Kuhrin took to slide his blade down the pole of the Scythe in an attempt to slice off Vompran's fingers.OOC: I'd just like to say that Desuka is in Parakuka-activated form, so I presume Kethrye is insanely strong if he's hanging on to it IC: DesukaThe beast didn't understand why it was growing so cold so suddenly. It assumed the axe was giving it off, and decided that it was best to let go. But it was such a threat... Still gripping the weapon tightly, it gave a final yank to try and pry it from Kethrye's grasp.OOC: I guess I just didn't understand what you meant by sonic pummeling. I.C. Vompran did indeed lose two fingers, as there was no way he could avoid the attack. He dropped his sythe in pain. He knew he would lose if he kept fighting, but he had no choice.OOC: You have permission to seriously injure him, but not kill him. Have fun Wotz

I.C. Vompran saw Kuhrin hurl the boomerang. He wondered why he had thrown it off to the side. That was a telltale sign that that either he was throwing at someone else, or throwing to knock something over that would land on him. He had no time to worry about the boomerang as Kuhrin charged him, he parried the blow with his sythe, making sure to get the curved part around Kuhrin's sword. Just as he was about to yank his sythe to remove Kuhrin's weapon, a boomerang sliced through his thick backpack and slammed into his back. This stunned him for a split second...

I.C. Vompran pulled the shurikan out of his chest and bandaged his wounds with makeshift plants and herbs. He was sure his luck was the only thing keeping him alive so far. A very small amount of hearing returned to him as he awaited Kuhrin's next move. He was ready for round 2.

I.C. The vine sliced, freeing Kuhrin. Vompran fired thorns from his hands at Kuhrin.OOC: edited.

I.C. Vompran was now temporarily deaf. This was a major disadvantage in battle. As soon as Kuhrin hit the ground, Vompran was already at a reasonably (kinda) safe place away from the brunt of the sonic wave so he wouldn't receive too much physical damage. The whole point of his last attack was to keep Kuhrin busy so the Ve-toa could have some time to think and regroup himself. Vompran tried to put aside the many things distracting him from the fight. Like the shurikan stuck in his chest; the aching, dizziness, and deafness from the sonic attacks, but this obviously was not easy. Vompran needed to stop and recover, but to where? It would be safer to keep fighting. Vines sprung from the earth behind Kuhrin. He was confident that Kuhrin was deaf as well (because sonic toa are not immune to their own attacks), so the only way to notice the attack would be to see it. Vompran rushed at Kuhrin's front with his grappling hook unreeled, he swung it at his feet, hoping to entangle him, or cut them with the sharp blade around the edge of the hook.

I.C. Kranuka took cover as to avoid being attacked. He saw nothing he could do to help. He supposed he would try to watch the others fight her and try to see if she had a weak spot.I.C. KotahkThe electric energy was being discharged into the metal floor. Soon. Very soon he would be able help his allies fight.

OOC: Very sorry for the late post. How exactly does the energy dampener field work, from what katuko said, I just thought it was a field that nothing could pass through as opposed to an making it disappear when in range.So do we have our elements back?I.C. Vompran felt very lucky. Just before he was about to get killed, Kuhrin was knocked off him. He rose to his feet just to have his ears ring as a sonic wave rushed towards him, there was no way to move faster than sound, so the wave struck him quite painfully. Pieces of his armor cracked. He lifted many of particles and stones and rocks off the ground with his matatu, and hurled them at Kuhrin.

I.C. VompranAt the first sight of flashing metal, Vompran used his matatu to propel the sword back as hard as he could. The sword landed a few bio away. In a struggle between life and death, he unleashed a massive barrage of vines upon the close range opponent.

I.C. Vompran crossed his arms in front of his torso and braced for impact, the shield slammed into his arms, not causing him much physical damage, but unfortunately knocked him over.

OOC: Dymiun is still holding it, I think.IC: Raika lashed out with her lightning chain whips. They gripped Kotahk, shocking him into submission."To answer your question, I am Raika."Fehron's mind was filled with a million questions, but he pushed them aside. Fehron formed a sword. No matter what Raika had meant to him in the past, she was no longer a friend, but a foe.Botan reacted instantly, hurling his twin boomerangs at her. However, Raika simply used her Matatu to stop them in midair. With a simple gesture, she crushed the weapons.I.C. Takana and Tamaka, who had been hiding, and filling their satchels with anything left in the lab that looked valuable, were in the midst of a tough position. Risk their life by fighting an insane toa and receive the pay that Kotahk had promised that would come out of the lab fund, or run away free from trouble with the loot they had already collected. Takana seemed to wonder if they could get away with both, but Tamaka made him sneak out a window. The two stalked away in the snow, covering up their tracks as they went.I.C. Kranuka was never without weapons. Never. He had spent his life crafting and selling weapons, and he always had a backup. he took the mutilated dagger, and tried hammering it into a new shape. No good. He'd have to have Fehron fix it later. He checked his weapon pack, pulled out an axe, and got into a defensive position.I.C. Kotahk groaned he forced himself up. Or tried to. Then he fell back to the ground with a spasm. Not even his pakari would allow him to get up.

I.C. Kotahk pointed his sword in the direction of the voice."Show yourself!" I.C. Kranuka"Raika? Who's Raika?"OOC: Who has the power crystal?

I.C. Vompran sidestepped and narrowly missed the blade. He launched a kinetic bolt of energy aimed at Kuhri's chest. from his finger tips.

I.C. Vompran carefully evaded the attack, and swung a sideswipe with his sythe.

I.C. Vompran stopped 2 shurikan telekinetically, but one of them struck him. Vompran had no time to think about the pain, and jumped to avoid becoming an amputee. Once already in the air, he kicked towards his enemies face.

OOC: Thanks ;)I.C. Vompran dived out of the way, he landed with a summersault and jumped to his feet. "What gives you the sudden notion to attack our village?" Vompran inquired.

I.C.Vompran controlled the trees making them drop hundreds of dead leaves on the ground. If any of them fell through a picture caused by a mahiki user, he would know it. He would also hear a crunch every time the real one took a step. In the mean time he tried to evade the two Kuhrin's rushing at him.

I.C. Vompran engaged Kuhrin. He did not know at first which one was real, so he shot a vine across the area all of them were running hoping to trip them at their high speed.

IC Botan opened the door. The team was stunned by what they saw. The lab looked like a tornado had hit it, and there was a bound and gagged Ko-Matoran lying in a corner. Botan rushed to the Matoran's aid. Freeing him with the sharp edge of his boomerang, Botan spoke to the Matoran. “Easy. We’re here to help. What happened here?”I.C. Kranuka stared at the scene wide-eyed trying to take it all in. His dagger was ready just in case anyone was still there.Kotahk angrily looked at the specimens and experiments scattered about the floor. "WHO did this?"Zenex grinned. "I swear it wasn't me."Takana and Tamaka prepared there knives and began to cautiously explore the lab.
