What the heck. What doesn't this site have a topic for, I swear. Thank you though.

8GB of RAM? Sounds like paradise. Although I would like that i7. I can handle 3GB as long as I have the rest of it updated, hardware wise.

True, but I haven't been able to do much with Java nor am I much of a big online game player. I want to be able to eventually code my own text-based RPG games. One day...

You kids these days and your fancy technology. I survive off 3GB of RAM and a processor so old it doubles as a heat lamp!

Been a while, but I remember you! I gotta thank you. Your heavy-handed criticism of my writing really helped me improve. Thanks.

  8. Being able to stop evil, and doing nothing, makes you as guilty as the person commiting the evil.

Watching it happen and doing nothing makes you guilty of aiding the murderer at the very least. Mind you, if you physically or mentally cannot help, that's different(I.E., restrained.).

You shouldn't be basing what's a crime and what isn't on political law. It changes far too much.

Theory isn't the same as real life. You might know, in theory, somebody is being mugged somewhere(The statistics show somebody is mugged at least once a day.). That doesn't make you guilty. But if you know somebody is being mugged, and you don't do anything to stop it(I.E., interfere, call the police, etc.), then you are guilty of the same crime.

Welp, Durden, you just started a possible political discussion, so I'm locking this. If you really want to talk, you know where to find me.

Don't switch the subject. I answered the question. I love my country from it's origins, and that includes the War of Independence. Which was won with guns. Which aren't violent. People are violent. I can be violent with an XBox controller.

All countries have a violent past(Care to name one country that doesn't?). I'm inspired to love my country from it's origins of Liberty and Justice. The right to religion, self-defense, and free-speech. The rights that were held by all humanity as important long before law was even written down.

I'm laughing at myself. Am I back? No? I don't know. I appreciate seeing a familiar face, however.

Not yet. I'm "harden" computers, making them pretty nigh secure for your lower level hackers and the like. I'm hoping to start setting up, and running websites in the future, thus the need for HTML and PHP.

Indeed. I always found Sci-Fi/Fantasy stories that did that, to be a rather fun read.

I always liked the comic stories that could balance that out, like in the The Walking Dead comics.

I used to run Windows, but it was just to slow, crashed, and there was too many viruses out there for it. I like Ubuntu, because I know it, it works great, but also to learn how to work the Terminal. Love that thing.
