  1. My theory is this; we all know that Zaktan was an evil genius, there was nothing possible he could do to help himself that he didn't do. Perhaps before went into the pit he separated some of his protodites from himself and didn't bring them all into the pit, as a precaution. Or it could just be the Red Star, which supports my other theory about the Red Star, that it didn't work while the Mata Nui robot was asleep, but it did while it was awake.

It worked while he was asleep because Mavrah died while he was asleep.

  2. I couldn't care less what color the pins are.
THIS. I never understood all the hoopla about colored pins. If you look at pretty much every NASA rover or other vehicle which favors function over form, you'll see all sorts of colors: colored wires, colored springs, etc. While a smooth, solid-colored aesthetic is great for MOCs, colored pins work well with the heavy industrial feel of most Bionicle parts. The only sets where colored pins especially bothered me were sets where they were especially prominent, which was typically a side effect of the sets not being very good anyway (case in point, the Metru Nui Matoran).
    Worked for Vihsola :tounge:
  3. I might have to say Axonn, but maybe that Toa, you know, the founder, what was her name? Helryx, right? She seems to me like the closest we can find of a Toa who puts long-term before short term. She was willing to ally with Teridax to keep the MU robot alive. What else can I say? But Axonn is my favourite, though slightly less interesting. Brutaka is good too, at least to me.
Eh when was this told, i tought she wanted to destroy the universe with her nova blast.
She did want to blow up the core processor...
  4. Are you going to do the Kanohi Zatth sometime? If you do, it should summon 3 or 4 Nui Rama to come and fight for you, even if it isn't the Karda Nui map. Just a suggestion.
Your resident canon (and cannon for that matter, but I digress) fan here. According to the story you cannot control the rahi you summon with that thing. You really can't even be sure of what you summon or whether it will try to kill and eat you. It's going to be a very complicated mask. Save it for later, like the Komau.
I wasn't saying you could control them, just come out of nowhere and attack other chars (and if they are still alive, attack you tounge2.gif ) The Zatth's power is just summoning, not controlling. And I chose Nui Rama since he already has those programmed into the game, and not have to make new Rahi for just one mask. Although once the Komau gets made (don't want to get ahead of you, but it would be really cool!), you could control it. Anywho, just a suggestion. Oh, and the new mask looks great.
  5. OK, so I finished Dark Destiny for probably the 10th time today, and I might have found something. When the Toa Inika first came out of their canisters, they lifted their weapons to the sky and fired off a bolt of lightning. When they did that, six stars were created and fell into orbit around the Red Star. Could that be relevant somehow?
I noticed that too recently. It probably is, but it may just be symbolic of their Toa origin being from the Red Star. :shrugs:
Yes, but since when did lightning bolts turn into celestial objects? Even for BIONICLE physics, that seems a little stretched; unless the Star made them or something of the like.
Well... since lightning turned Matoran into Toa? :PToa Stars are standard Bionicle physics, they're just not usually made by that particular action exactly and the circling of the Red Star is different.
Yes, but I figured the toa stars were more in-robot standard and the ones in MoL were just artistic license.
Maybe it's just a bit of leftover energy involved in the Toa-izing that became little alive glowy things. :shrugs:
Well, if the masks didn't turn into alive kanohi, I would have dismissed that as plausible, lol, but unlikely. However, it could be possible...

  8. Yeah, after reading the first two Legends books again, I'm starting to think a lot of it was situational (apparently, that's not a word but I DON'T CARE! tounge2.gif ) problems sincea. The Nuva had no clue what they were up against until they lost their masks and weapons.b. The Nuva still had no clue that Brutaka could make them all "half-dead" in a single blow.c. The Matoran Resistance told them what they were facing before their first major battle and planed their attack on the fortress out.d. They sort of had lightning powers and IMO, lightning and electricity always wins tounge2.gif.e. They had Axxon's help with the special zamor creation and keeping Brutaka out of the fight. (Why Axxon didn't help the Nuva out when they stormed the stronghold, I still have no clue.)So yeah...

  9. The Pit itself (the original prison) is inside the MU, which is how people could be transported there. When the GC struck, Mata Nui crash landed on the Aqua Magna and opened up that portion of his body on impact. Once that happened and the cells were smashed, Takadox killed Hydraxon (how, dunno, but probably where the hole of the Pit was since everyone was rushing over there and it probably wasn't that big a hole. Hydraxon makes his last stand to keep the inmates in the Pit, but he gets killed.).
