Yeah, he told me that he brought the mask to San Jose.

I own a gresh helmet with Dark green on top and light green on the bottom, a black/gold av-toran arm, a red and black Zamor, and a lime green/green/lime green tube (pics later) from brickfair.

Yesterday, I talked with the current owner of the platinum Kanohi Avohkii. He has a store in Santa Rosa, California. He said that the old owner came into the store one day, and said that he had a lego piece that was very valuable. He sold it to the current owner right then and there. I did not see the mask, it is at the person's house, but I did see the MOC on which it was displayed in the ebay listing. Nothing significant, but I thought you guys might possibly be interested.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that the owner told me that the original owner (Chase) lives in Santa Rosa.

I really like onua because when I first saw him, I thought he was so cute, with the little hunchback. And the Pakari is pretty cute looking.

Getting my 200th post (took me 11 months to do, and that 30 post loss because of the hacking really didn't help). I don't know how people like T-Hybrid, Kex, and Bonesiii do it.

Bionicle, by a long shot. Hero Factory is okay, but Bionicle drew me in way better than hf, and actually made me want the sets. Nowadays, I only get a hf set when I'm bored, and even still, it takes me 3 minutes to assemble it at most. I like the complexity of early Bionicle sets much better than the ball-and-socket design that hero factory is.

Yay! That's a whole 12 grand cheaper! Now, I'll just have to donate a kidney, my gallbladder, and an arm!

I only get my stuff on eBay. I have a BrickLink, and I only used it to order 3 knaohi. One guy didn't ship his, then he said I didn't pay, even though I did. eBay is much more reliable.

Heh, I used to play with Bionicle guys (and other lego stuff) in the bathtub when I was little.

I have Torch, Ski, Turbo, Jet, Granite, Flare, and Blaster. I have to say, those guys are pretty cool. The story was simple, and the sets were technic-y, which makes me really like it.

I like 2006 the most, because that's what I got started on. I already knew everything about the piraka by my first week in.

I have mixed feelings about this. It would be really ice to see Bionicle back, but at the same time, I'm pretty sure that it would basically be Hero Factory sets with the Bionicle logo slapped on it, or if they actually brought back the older sets, they would have lost their nostalgia, and I'd feel like a moron for spending $150 on Vezon & Kardas.

I think that the original Miru or Pakari looks spot-on terrific. I absolutely hate the noble Rau on the other hand....

Because I only have three Kanoka (buried deep in my parts bin), I haven't noticed that. If I find them, I should check them out.
