  1. Wait wait wait wait wait wait WAIT! WARNER BROS, the owners of DC UNIVERSE is making a video game for MARVEL which is a DISNEY owned franchise. What on earth???But besides from that.... YES! Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes YEEEEEEEES!!!!!!!!!! I'm so thrilled to hear about this, can't wait to start smashing bricks with minifigure Deadpool :D

Wah!? Warner Bros. ??? I thought they were rivals!!

    MARVEL OWNED BY DISNEY!?!!? *faints*

This is like....Franchiseception on the fourth level! We need to go deeper and have Marvel buy Hasbro and then make MLP comic books! :o

Seriously? You guys didn't know? Just saying it has been a few years now :PAnd buying Hasbro would be a very bad idea because that would mean no Marvel at LEGO (mind if two rival companies can still put there differences aside to make a videogame as seen here, who knows).

Yeah, I've known since it happened... :P

  3. According to our site statistics, our average user age has actually gone down the last several years.

    What is the average, then?

Last I heard it was like 12 or so.

That's rather low, considering the age of all of the members that I know on here are in college or high school. I'm guessing that most of them are inactive, am I wrong?

  4. Playing around with the Boulder Bowling set I bought a few days ago. For those who have other speedorz sets, is the ramp a huge problem? I'm just wondering, because apparently it's not too much of a problem in this particular set (and for other sets it is a huge one). Smashing the boulders in two is a problem though...

That aside, getting a extra gold lightsaber hilt in this set (and the CHI waterfall I believe) is a huge bonus. Getting Chromius in a (relatively) cheap set is a nice as well--it's a shame he's in the most expensive set, as it would result in a significantly higher demand for this set.

If anyone wants, I might make a review on it; I have pics ready, even.

    I'd like to read a review. :)

  5. Seems they're riding on an awful lot of faith with this line. My guess is they're trying to compete with the Thundercats reboot. That, or they just wanted an excuse to make Fabuland heads again and found it tested good with kids. Either way, best of luck to the LEGO furries.

Thundercats....not my favorite, the reboot or the original. If I'm not mistaken, the reboot came out a year or two ago, didn't it? But then again, LEGO themes are made two years before release.

  6.

Will it really? I hardly used the Bionicle website when the theme was still running, and haven't been there at all since it ended. And while I'm sure others may check it more often, there's really no reason to considering that it's no longer updating and all the information from the site is on BS01 already. The only things I can think of that would be lost are the games, and considering resourceful FOLs have managed to find even games that were considered long lost like the "Supersonic RC" game, even those probably wouldn't be gone for good. Discussion on the Message Boards would probably continue as well. The Bionicle site really doesn't represent that much as far as the theme is concerned, and it'd be far from the end of the world if it was taken down.

Yeah I understand. But there are people here that are nostalgic enough, that if they take the site off it'll be close to the death of a relative, emotion-wise. Personally I'll miss the website designs. But so far LEGO seems fine enough to maintain the website, maybe until next year. :P

Agreed. It would be the final proof that Bionicle really is gone for good. :/

  7. The socket pieces in 2008 seemed to be rather weak on my Kopaka Phantoka set, at least 2 of them. I've only had 1 somewhat broken from the years before. The rest are pegs and arms.

Same here. The socket pieces from 2008 were VERY weak.

Unfunny comedies. I don't blame the writers, who have the potential to actually be funny. I blame the rules that keep out anything potentially amusing.

Not sure how anything that isn't allowed here could make a comedy funnier.-Gata signoff.png

It's possible that he means inappropriate jokes. :/

Even so, those type of jokes aren't honestly that funny, and if they are, they're definitely not appealing to the younger audience, but rather, to adults. I know there are adults on BZPower, but there are more children and adolescents than adults.

Very true. I never said that I support them though. :P

  10. I just finished The Moffat Museum. It's a little bit simple for me, considering it was written for children my age, but I loved it. It takes place near my hometown, but about 90 years earlier than now. It's about a family that goes on adventures, and there are four books in the series, I think. I've read three of them, but I can't seem to find the fourth book. They're very old, so it's not surprising. :)
