Tarix's blade. The shape just makes it difficult to attach it in a way so that it looks good. Yes, I have seen some MOCs with it, but it was only because of a lack of a decent-looking gold weapon, and even then it looked odd.

I just looked it up...that's a pretty ugly piece. :/

 

And then we can't discuss religion or politics even if we act civil about it.

The problem with that is that many people between the age of 13 and 18, and even many people above 18 simply can't discuss it in a civil manner. Many of them can't accept other opinions, and that can lead to some very extreme arguments that simply can't be controlled. Even if some people can discuss it like civil people, there are others that can't, and the administration can't just keep somebody from posting because they can't talk about those things civilly, and let other people discuss it. That's just discriminatory and unfair.The problems I have is that 1) there aren't BZPower-specific apps (I'd love to make an Android one however), and 2) the many restrictions and glitches on the mobile skin.

 

I would love to have a BZP mobile app. It would definitely help me post more, since I don't get many chances to sit down and post without being interrupted and whatnot. I do also strongly agree with your point about religion and politics, because I've seen many things on various forums and wikis where users on both sides of a fight got extremely intense and way too emphatic about their opinions.

 

 

Any one else a bit worried that neither Stringer or Nex were in the trailer. I cant imagine them only releasing 3 heroes next wave Also Stormer looks amazing

I don't think we should assume that the heroes absent from the trailer aren't going to be sets... don't forget that the Breakout episode only featured six heroes. This ad shows seven, but hopefully Nex and Stringer will still be released as sets even if they don't feature in the episode.Stormer makes brilliant use of Chima and Technic parts, Surge has a lovely wing pack, and Evo reminds me of Phantoka Toa Pohatu in a good way. Overall, it's nice to see that all of the heroes will have very unique designs, just as in Breakout.

 

I've seen the trailer as well. They are really pushing me to get more that just a few figures with this line. Also Stringer and Nex could be sets. Breez Bulk and Nex weren't part of the Breakout tv series but were still sets. Plus we haven't seen official or leaked pics of the summer line of sets yet. So we won't know if Stringer and Nex will be part of this line.

 

I wouldn't be surprised if they only had three heroes. They tend to remove and add some heroes with each wave. :/

Furno looks like the best to me....the color scheme is amazing. o.o

I'd be glad to buy them digitally if they were indeed going to charge.

That's actually pretty cool ! The sets were pretty good, so I'm looking forward to what TLG comes up with next xD An aquatic theme for the ninjas perhaps?

I would say the Olmak wouldn't be until later on, as it would require mask powers, a new dimension, and complex mob coding. I could put the realm of shadows into the Metru Nui modification, an have Kahgahrak have the ability to send you there (they'll be a rare spawn), and to escape, you need to battle the Zivon boss to get to an Olmak, or just another portal. That would be pretty cool.And, with that virus gone, most of my programs reinstalled, and most of my data recovered, I hereby swear to begin work as soon as the New Years update comes out. I'll have the whole Christmas vacation to work.

It's the Redstone update, isn't it? I thought he stated it will be released in mid to late January.

I guess you could talk about if they would have realistic enough joints, or if they would fall apart, etc....still a great idea.

Hello....how would I got about starting my character? Is there a sheet I should fill out or something to have a character? I'd like to join BZRPG but I'm not sure what to do first.

She's in maternity leave. She's supposed to return when the baby has grown enough so I'll give it a few months until she returns.

Well maternity leaves usually last around 50 weeks or so. I have no clue when she left. But most likely she has a few months left.

Next experiment: compare maximum weight load of a LEGO brick to that of a MEGABLOKS brick (hint: MEGABLOKS bricks are terrible quality).

They aren't terrible quality. They're nowhere near as good as LEGO, but other clone brands have much worse quality.

 

Although I do agree that some other clone brands can be much worse, I've played with some MEGABLOKS, and I've seen lots of broken pieces. They also fade really quickly.

 

I bent a MEGABLOK with my hands when I was fairly young. :/

But after doing a bit more research on motion capture, I think I'm actually going to have to agree with Lychir. Motion capture generally needs to be done on a green screen background in a very controlled environment, so an entirely mocapped cast on real backgrounds would actually be kind of pointless. You'd just have camera crews going out, filming patches of forest from different angles with no actors in place. It would make building sets of any kind pointless, and it would really be much better just to create everything on the computer.

 

But I actually think it would be nicer if we got to the point where motion capture was a viable option for TV series, and had a Bionicle TV show rather than a film. I think the story would work out better if it had more screentime to develop the characters and plot. In the direct to DVD films so far, we've always ended up with some important details being neglected as a result of trying to compress things.
