I for one would personally enjoy combi models with each summer villain and their respective Toa like Lyichir said above (ex. Onua+Skull Basher). The only Problem is that two Toa don't have their own villains (Onua/Skull Basher, Lewa/Skull Slicer, Kopaka/Skull Warrior, and Pohatu/Skull Scorpio). Tahu and Gali would be left out ( they already don't have special masks from summer sets). Although I guess they could use parts from Mask Maker VS Skull Grinder...

Looks like a Skylander.

Here the back armor is removed to show the shoulder construct.

Kairyn was part of another Toa team on Okoto a long time ago. He was a fierce warrior with his Flame Scythe who also had the ability to manipulate Fire energy via his hands. However, he wasn't the brightest of his bunch, and he often overlooked vital details. He and his team were knocked unconscious by the shockwave that came as a result of Ekimu knocking the Mask of Ultimate Power off of his brother's face. However, given the right technology, someone could awaken his spirit and bring him back...
Primary Color: Red
Element: Fire
Favorite Environment: His home, overlooking the massive volcano of the Region of Fire
Mask: Protector Mask-shaped Mask of Fire
Powers, Fire Control and super speed
Primary Weapon: Flame Scythe
Special Moves: Fire Reaper and Flame Uppercut
(SHORYUKEN!)Key traits: Brave, strong, and persistent

Some may remember that Kairyn was my old character during my brief time in the BZPRPG, but anyways, I hope you enjoy my first MOC in ages, and I'll appreciate your feedback! Thank you!

My first HF set was Preston Stormer. Stormer was also my last HF set (Stormer VS
DiggersbyJaw Beast). -
My walmart already has scarcely any constraction sets last time I checked in late July, just some BA Wave 2 and 2013 Chima. But Im assuming that some discounts are in order.

Wow! I sure am excited for the new Bionicle now! (as if I wasn't already)
All six Toa look really good in CCBS, my favorites probably being Tahu and Onua. I also like tha fact that gears are returning, and new new headpiece looks nice. The masks clipping onto the side is also something interesting, just like real masks (imagine putting a post in your mouth to wear a mask!).
As for the story being a reboot, it wasn't as bad as I though it was going to be. Im hoping in a summer wave that we at least get Makuta and Ekimu as sets, with their masks, and another set with the Mask of Ultimate Power. The new cartoony style for the animations might take a little bit getting used to, though.
(end rant)

A short update on stuff on Lego.com.
1. Typing "Bionicle" into the search bar does redirect to the "Coming Soon" page again.
2. On the FAQ's page, they've finally removed "At this time we have no plans to bring back BIONICLE".
3. Bionicle.com and Bioniclestory.com still redirect to the Lego.com homepage.
On a second note, how about the reveal tomorrow? I am personally hoping for reveal of, maybe, the main villain (besides Lord of ***** *******), or a small snippet of story. Then winter waves sets are revealed at NYCC.

On a different note, how do you guys think the story will handle the new forms of the Toa? Assuming it is a continuation (which for reasons i cannot discuss seems quite likely), starting it off with the Toa gettin new forms will be confusing for newer fans. I could see Greg writing a little short story explaining how the Toa got the new forms to tie the two generations together (even though the story wouldn't be much more complex than "Mask of Life comes. Insert 2015 exposition here. Heres some new forms. Yaaaaaaaaaaaay"

I'm starting to think that the main villain this year (besides Lord of you-know-who) will be some sort of evil king. The top of the mask in the image looks much like a crown, and I was also getting a large Egyptian pharaoh vibe from the mask on the Image-that-shall-not-be-named. If the mask is indeed the Mask of Creation, I can see him stealing it for his own nefarious purposes.
I also have another idea. Maybe somebody goes back into the MU robot and finds some surviving research in a destroyed BOM lab. He takes it back to his fellow Makultists (thanks to Makaru for that name), and they are able to reproduce the formula for Antidermis! Get some scrap metal undoubtedly lying around after the final battle, and you have a brand new Makuta. Through the year they are trying to find the Mask of Shadows, which would still have Teridax's imprint on it. Put it on and there, Teridax is back. Kind of like Galvatron in AOE: A new body with the same "spirit". Although if Bionicle G2 is successful enough I'd wait a few years to bring him back.
Thanks for dealing with my crazy (and probably waaaaaaaay inaccurate) story!

I cannot believe it is actually happening! The Hype Train has reached its first checkpoint, and is going full speed ahead to 2015!
To get back on topic, about the Mask of ?????, Im looking closely at it and I think I see detailing on the outer prongs, on the top. The Mask of Creation was said to have been etched with ancient symbols, right? Im going for Mask of Creation.

I think it would be best if there was something on the new Bionicle.com that briefly explained the storyline, with a few sentences per year. Like this:
In the time before time, an evil being named Makuta enslaved the inhabitants of the universe and placed our Great Spirit into deep slumber. A team of Toa warriors were able to hold Makuta back while they freed the enslaved people, at the sacrifice of their powers, and migrated to the island of Mata Nui. Makuta's creatures continued to harass the people, until 6 legendary Toa arrived. They managed to defeat the strange creatures that Makuta sent after them, time after time, and at last, with the help of a seventh Toa, were able to defeat Makuta. But Makuta did not die. As part of his master plan he let a new generation of Toa obtain the Mask of Life and use it, saving the Great Spirit from death. Furthermore, the legendary Toa, called the Toa Nuva, were able to at last awaken the Great Spirit, Mata Nui. But Makuta took advantage and took over Mata Nui's gargantuan body, and all who dwelled within. With the entire universe under his control, Mata Nui's spirit arrived on a barren planet. When Makuta and his armie arrived on said planet, an all-out war broke out between Makuta's army, the Toa, and the inhabitants of the planet. With the help of a large body of his own, and Toa Tahu, Makuta was finally defeated, once and for all, and the planet was reunited with its two moons to make a beautiful paradise.
11 sentences, I believe. And not too wordy so younger kids would still be able to understand it.

I have no idea how the hype train can intensify any further. It's already a turbo-boosted high speed hype spaceship, spaceship, SPACESHIP! that several members are currently fused onto.
All silliness set aside though, I believe this is the moment we have all been waiting for since July: Lego's official confirmation. I hope we get set pics.

@IXRolloutIX That story is awesome. I came too late to the party as well, and began collecting the sets from online (im 14 BTW). Its good to see that there's a "new generation" of bionicle fans. Hopefully they can both coexist on BZP when the return happens (No Genwunners please!)

Well, 19.99 NZ equals 16.75 US, while 24.99 NZ is 20.94 US. Assuming that these sets are going to be fairly large. I guess this is their way of apologizing for giving us the atrocities that were the Bionicle Stars: by giving us larger than usual sets upon the return.

Very nice mocs you guys have been doing, but I doubt that the sets would be anywhere close to "titan sized". While it would be cool, having 6 titans would just be overkill (I think the most Bionicle ever had in one wave was 4)
BTW Tommorow I will try to make another Toa that isn't Tahu. We can't forget about others like Delta Gali or Gamma Kopaka!
-
Wow! I come back after about a week and all you guys have come up with some genius ideas! I especially like the idea of Titan sized Barraki/Rahi sets, and Nato Greavesy's "Vezon, Toa of Anarchy" ("Vezon Master Anarchy" doesn't have much of a ring to it).
As for that Anti-Team, oh my. If that was made into a serial or a book that would be great. Kind of like a more crazy version of the FOF.

I don't think the Midak has been used since 08. Zamor spheres are still in use. I know the 1st Zamor launcher was in a recebr Mind storms set, and the Thornax has been replaced in 2011.Dat ninja though.

Granted, but due to a mix-up in the Genie's lamp, you get one of every Ben 10 set ever produced. (I feel sorry for you actually, as I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy).
I wish that I had an arcade cabinet.
-
Granted, so they movie is removed from every theater in the world, and put out in Germany. And it's your fault the rest of the world didn't get to see it (most likely.)
I wish Lego would officially confirm Bionicle 2015.
-
That would make sense. Both constraction themes used pieces from a previous theme (Technic for Bionicle, Bionicle for HF), then over time they made unique pieces for the theme (more Bionicle pieces in its case, and the CCBS for HF).

fought a rich dude with more gadgets that you can shake a Batarang at.

Granted, but it confused you as an enemy. The rest is history.
I wish I had a pet Kronn.

I know this isn't too related, but looking closely at the Prototype Mask of Creation i can see some symbols on the sides that look very much like Matoran. Hmm.....
