  1. IC: Ahrusa Having finished downing her first drink, Ahrusa decided to return to the fountain to grab another drink. As expected, there were a lot of high profile Dasaka a the Ball. One in particular caught her eye, Toroshu Celis. She led Clan Vadiru, the only clan to openly support the Fursic, making her an invaluable ally. Ahrusa respected her greatly for having her clan aligned with her own, as the Fursic are generally considered the most distasteful. Innumerable failed coups will give you that reputation. Ahrusa carefully approached her, and bowed in her presence. "Toroshu Celis, it is an honor to be in your presence." Respect was her concern first and foremost, even if it came of as flattery.
  2. IC: Athiel Seeing as Qyntar sped up, so did he accordingly. He was enjoying himself now. Any grievances had been forgotten, with joy in its stead. Something then clicked inside his head, something he had been to distracted to notice. "Where are all the Rahi, I'd have expected to see some Gukko flying about, or an odd Nui-Rama. Yet we have been traveling undisturbed since we left the cave."
  3. IC: Ahrusa Ahrusa entered the Ball room just as the dancing had begun. Beautiful music played in the background to set the mood. Ahrusa grabbed a weak alcoholic beverage and stood among the other partygoers, spectating the dance. She sensed a sort of tenseness in the air, but couldn't place it. She thought to herself it to be nothing, after all the relations between the clans are currently very strained. She lifted her glass to her mouth, and took a small sip. She was never to fond of alcohol, having found water far more palatable. The dancers moved gracefully, but still something felt wrong about tonight. With all the tension recently, someone was sure to pull something. Still, she remained static, allowing others to worry about such matters. Tonight, she would enjoy herself.
  4. IC: Athiel "Maybe once or twice, but I could never really get used to the humidity. Also, treespeak has always confused me to no end. I could never figure out why, but it's probably the constant repetition. The areas really nice though, and that's one reason I rarely come here. With powers like mine, I could accidenitly cause the whole south of the island to go up in cinders and ash." He noticed that they we getting close, and decided to slow down a bit to conserve energy. Athiel hadn't eaten in over a day, or hydrated for that matter. "Well, there she is, Le-Koro. The City of Music as I call it, for odvious reasons. Even if it is more like a village than a city, but the Village of Music doesn't have the same ring to it."
  5. IC: Athiel With that, Athiel started after Qyntar, keeping in mind a slip up could grievously injure him. The canopy was very high up, and he was even higher. He quickly but graciously leap from tree to tree, keeping good speed with his compatriot. These trees were old, and supported his weight surprisingly well. "Have you ever be to Le-Koro before", I shouted to Qyntar. The speed at which they are moving may make it difficult to hear.
  6. IC:Athiel "Have you spotted anything yet", shouted Athiel as he jumped from branch to branch. He hadn't felt this good for a long time. His armor prevented him from moving as acrobatically as he did now. In fact, he had it custom ordered to be overly heavy to increase his strength when outside of it. "Maybe Le-Wahi isn't that bad", he thought to himself. As he jumped again, he grabbed a large branch above him and swung himself up on top of the tree. The miles around you could see the massive jungle that the southern region of Mata-Nui was home to. Further north you could see Mt. Ihu rising out of the waste, and in the west you could faintly make out what appeared to the the Endless Ocean. The south and east were covered in jungle too dense to see through. "Now this is real freedom", he thought to himself as he took in the immense beauty of the island.
  7. IC:Athiel Atheil was reluctant to grab on after what happened last time he flew, having lost the majority of his equipment in the sandstorm the pair had encountered in Po-Wahi. "I think I'll find my own way up there, after what happened last time. I think I'm still a bit shaken up", he chuckled. "Besides, I would like to preform some recon in the area, perhaps spend a little time in world Mata-Nui has given us." No longer burdened by his heavy armor, Athiel sprung up into the branches above. "You are still free to fly, of course. "
  8. IC:Athiel Athiel found it difficult to hide his irritation, speaking quickly, and not providing any chance to interject. "Might as well, anything to get higher up than the floor. I haven't been to Le-Wahi in some time. I'm guessing that you're more familiar with the area than I am. Do you have any idea where we go?"
  9. I hope it's a murder mystery. You can never have enough of those......
  10. Wait, it's Already started? Fashionably late, I guess.
  11. IC:Ahrusa "The point of a spy is not to get caught, not to get noticed", Ahrusa said to herself as she sat in her comfortable home in the center of Sado. "Simple enough, this is a masquerade ball after all." She walked over to her small wardrobe, and pulled out an ornate uniform dyed in navy, with the signature Fursic reds trimming the interior of the outfit. She sheathed a long ceremonial crystal blade along her side, and placed her masquerade mask upon her own. It covered only the facial region itself, and was nothing too ornate. However, this did not in any way discredit its quality. It was shaped from the finest crystal, with various designs etched into it including her own clan emblem. She walked over to her desk and drew an envelope from it. Within it sat the invitation, placed back within after having been read. They always feature the same impersonal, fill in the blank text, but it's nice to know your being thought of. Ahrusa quickly shoved it into her pocket, and walked out the door, strolling to the seat of the empire itself.
  12. Excellent. Most excellent. Time for my a Royal Spy to do her job, finally. Just need to pick up a costume and she's in business.
  13. IC: Athiel Athiel suddenly remembered his intense dislike for Le-Wahi. One errant flame out of place, and the whole area spontaneously combust. One broken twig, and the Nui-Kopen could come swarming from miles out. The air out here in the jungle always felt sticky and wet, defiantly not a pleasant feeling. And the noise. That Mata-Nui forsaken noise! All around you the sounds of Rahi slithering about in the dense tree line, the Nui-Rama zipping about above the canopy, and the chirping of Gukko birds. He would prefer the icy solitude of Ko-Wahi any day to this mess. He quickly regained his composure, not daring to let his extreme irritation surface. He finally spoke to his compatriot hanging back in the cave entrance. "Well, have you any idea of what we should do now? We are extremely of course, us having been led to the other side of the island by that labrynth."
  14. When you say only Dasaka with influence may attend, does that mean strictly political leaders, or military leaders and other more subordinate Dasaka as well? Thinking of bringing my Dasaka main back into action.
  15. Ic: Athiel Athiel slowly walked out of the tunnel, only to be momentarily blinded by a bright light. Once he regained his vision, he realized that the area around him was covered in bright green vegetation. Numerous trees surrounded him, and sunlight poured through the canopy above. The jungle felt humid, pleasant after being in the desert for so long. They had arrived in Le- Wahi. "I would have never thought that it would lead to Le-Wahi. The question is, why would someone go through all this effort?"
  16. IC: Ahrusa Ahrusa sized up the Dasaka. She seemed unruly, not speaking in a respectful manner to her superiors. Her appearance was nothing special, looking similar to any other Dasaka of her class. "I just find it peculiar that a Toroshu was had sat down and had a conversation with a Ringti. Tell me, what Clan are you a member of?"
  17. IC: Atheil As the pair descended into the musky labyrinth, it become harder to breath. There was too little air to keep a large a large fire going, forcing him to switch to a smaller flame. Soon, the tunnel expanded into cavern's making navigation difficult. "Normally , caverns like these are home to numerous subterranean Rahi, yet I have seen not one. I guess that supports your theory of it being created recently."
  18. IC: Ahrusa After the open debate this morning, the people of the Market resumed their normal behaviour. Ahrusa had no doubt in her mind that it was initiated by her own clan. The crowd had long dissipated, and Ahrusa carried on with her business. Feeling hungry, she walked over to a close by food stall, when she noticed the Toroshu of Clan Vadiru passing by. "It looks like everyone is here today", Ahrusa thought to herself. She had come from the food stall, having been sitting at a table with another. A simple commoner, not in any way noteworthy, and yet Ahrusa felt compelled to pursue her. After a while shadowing the Dasaka, she decided to converse. "Um, excuse me. Where you just talking with Toroshu Celis?" She did not know how to address serf, making it come out very clumsily and unprofessional. OOC: You're up, Onaku
  19. IC: Athiel "I can sense that it continues to get colder the farther the labyrinth descends. As far as I can tell, there is no end to it. If we decent, and Mata Nui forbid lose our way, we could be down there for a long while." Athiel crouched over, and place his hand upon the cavern floor, grabbing a few loose stones. They definitely felt natural, and melted like normal rock. Nothing out of the ordinary. "we need to leave a trail so we may find our way back up. Do you have any lightstones?"
  20. A Masquerade ball, eh? Maybe it's time to pull Ahrusa out of whatever void my AFK Characters disappear to after a month of inactivity.
  21. IC: Athiel "I suggest you lead, as it seems that your powers give you a better lay of the land, so to say. Still, this place troubles me. If not by natural means, them what? I know not a power that could do this."
  22. IC: Athiel "Against my better judgement, I suggest we investigate the caverns below. A creature capable of large scale excavation of this magnitude is a threat to the island. Even though these caves are fresh, we know not what lurks in the shadows below." Athiel turned toward Qyntar, looking past him out into the desert. " Besides, by the time we get out, maybe the storm will have dispersed."
  23. Columbia, is that you? Also, what's up with these random spinning icons next to our post bar? Finally, I'm guessing that party being formed in going to Mata Nui, right? Haven't been checking the Archipelago forum recently.
