  1. IC: Athiel "That doesn't seem likely, and I sense that this place runs far beaneth the sands. I have never heard of a Rahi capable of tunneling with such haste." He turned to inspect the walls, only to find that they featured no claw marks. "Everything seems so natural, but I feel as if the temperature continues to drop deep within this place. But how do you explain the numourous dead beneath us?"
  2. IC: Athiel Athiel followed Qyntar in the dark place, unable to see a few feet in front of him. The cave had a cold draft flowing through it, likely emanating from deeper within. With the snap of a finger, a flame formed in his hand, the bright light covering the cavern walls. He turned to face his friend, and imediately noticed Qyntars facial expression, one of deep discomfort. "What is wrong, brother. Do you sense something?"
  3. IC: Athiel "Good job, Qyntar. We should search for a cavern to take shelter in until the storm passes. I could provide a fire for warmth, and I still have some food left over."
  4. IC: Athiel "I can't see anything below us, so flying there is out of the question". He looked at the two of them. Noticing the new scratches of their armor. " It seems that flying out of it like that did some damage, but it prevented more grievous wounds.' He looked down toward the desert, but nothing could be seen through the thick dust. 'Have you any ideas on how to solve our predicament?" Athiel felt lighter than usual, immediately realizing that his spear was missing from his person. "Well, isnt that just wonderfull. In our haste, my primary weapon has been lost. By the time I could return here, it will have been buried along with anything else left down there." IC: Akura "I seem to have underestimated this locks quality. Not even one fracture. Without my mask, i'm nigh useless. I think its finally done, time to try again", he said inside his mind. Even though it was in between guard shifts, he couldn't afford to vocalize his thoughts. He placed his hand upon the door handle and quietly twisted it. The subdued sound of breaking mechanism came from inside the lock. A lockpick of ice formed in his hand, and soon the cylinder was free from the gap it was lodged in. He quietly pushed open the door, checking that no one was around him.
  5. Out comes Toa Naparu Mahri In goes The Brotherhood of Makuta
  6. IC: Athiel "Towards the north, near where the shore meets the ocean. Please, allow me to lead us there." After walking through the waste for what seemed like a while, Athiel noticed a thick brown haze emmerging from over the horizon. As it came, it shrouded the ever shifting landscape in darkness. "There's a sandstorm approaching, and I'm afraid visibility will be quiet low. I would suggest we seek shelter." He threw his hood upon his head, to prevent sand from getting in his eyes. The viscous winds whipped around them, drawing up granules from the ground around them. An overwhelming sence of dread overcame him, as he knew that these winds were the most viscous on the island.
  7. IC: Athiel "Good to hear. We should set out immediately. We can raid my armory for our excursion."
  8. Athiel sighed as Qyntar delivered the bad news. "Well, I know of no other inns here besides the one at which the incident occurred." Then, Athiel remembered that his hut is filled with non perishable food items. "I guess we could always return to my hut. I have enough food there to last us a while. Not to mention a secret chamber filled with my spoils."
  9. IC: Athiel Athiel was exited to get a good meal, and a good nights sleep. After awhile of walking, he started to feel tired. "Are you sure you know the way? We could always ask for directions, or you could of course just fly yourself up and get a Gukko's eye view and figure out where we are."
  10. IC:Athiel "Um, that was strange. Did you recognize either of them? Also, how about we go get some food? I'll pay." Athiel was glad to be out of prison, but was tired and hungry, having not ate or slept while he was there.
  11. IC: Athiel Athiel noticed that Qyntar had finally caught up with him. "Nice of you to join us Qyntar, but we must get going. We have suffered enough delays. To answer your question, I don't believe he introduced himself, but he was asking about you." OOC: That Hiatus.
  12. IC: Athiel Athiel wasn't paying attention when a stranger bumped into him from behind. He started to apologize, when he noticed someone walking towards them. The stranger then asked a question, that strangely enough he knew the answer to. "The Toa your referring to is Qyntar, Toa of Gravity." OOC: I'm back, again.
  13. IC: Athiel "We have only been in this cell for mere hours, and you leave us? I thought you were made of sterner stuff. I hope you will reconsider, but I will not stop you." Athiel exited the cell, freed from his bonds. "Meet me at the gate if you decide otherwise." He started walking down the hall, and when he reached the end he gripped the door knob. He glanced back, and left after after grabbing his confiscated gear. Once he got outside, he noticed the sun had gone down. He put on his armor, and went on his way towards the cavern.
  14. IC: Athiel "Thank you for helping us. Could you tell us what happened to the culprit. I know it's not my place to pry but I would like to know." He stood up, smiling for the first time in a while. OOC: Thank Mata Nui.
  15. We're stuck in prison, we can't really advance to the next stage of our plan unless we escape, which is less than ideal.
  16. IC: Athiel "Perhaps it is, but hey, what do we have to lose"? That was stupid to say. I mean, everyone says it. What to say next. Ah, here we go. "We won't find out though until we get out of here."
  17. I'd like to go, but I'm still stuck in prison. Lloyd, please help!
  18. IC: Athiel I am so bored. I'm sure the others are too. Even though we have been in here for mere hours, it feels like days. I have never been in a situation like this, not being able to wander about the island. Maybe it's good to experience being grounded for once, but I don't like it. "I believe we should see the situation for ourselves before we waste our time planning strategies. Besides, I could simply reduce the rocks to magma, and drain the heat out of it. Simple."
  19. Congratulations Vox! Finally, the Fursic have allies. I look forward to seeing your clan in action. I have taken the liberty of starting a wiki page for it. Please edit it accordingly.
  20. IC: Ahrusa Ahrusa loved politics, and enjoy the ongoing conversation that was occurring. She had not had a chance to discuss thing of such magnitude for a long while. "Who is to say they do not", she said. "It is not our place to decide the fate of an entire race based on the actions of a few specimens. Who is to say they are all so without mercy? Besides, if we do go to this island and eradicate them, then we are no better. Attack on them may incur the wrath of the others native to Mata Nui."
  21. Your space station is flung into the sun. My mask.
  22. Anyway, it's good to have you back after your brief hiatus. I enjoyed your interpretation of the wall.
  23. IC: Athiel "Well, it seems like we'll be getting out sooner than I thought. Well, good for us I guess. Now we have to deal with a cave in though." Athiel stood up, stretched and sat back down "So, you guys have any idea's?"
  24. Yes, that kind of thing would take time, and would require probably backing from clans, but would probably occur only after the clans have taken their stance on the problem. If done right it could be enjoyable, transcending the coup for profit trope.
  25. Considering the tensions have yet to come to a boil, clans having not yet having taken an official stance on the issue, I am mearly projecting what could happen in the event sides start to be taken. On the flip side, many seem all to eager to go to war without much information.
