  1. I have a question, which has had me interested for awhile. I want to know why Makuta would turn into a matoran in the 2001 saga, and why he wanted to have the same mask as Tahu. Firstly, he was disguised as a nanobot, and we all know Makuta is a virus. So the virus acted like a nanobot inside of the mind of the spirit. But he had an infected Kanohi hau, and I wonder why.

  2. I could not believe it when I realized the matoran lived inside Mata-Nui, but I did not find out they were living INSIDE of him until the Glatorian Saga, (I thought the MU was a line of islands on Aqua magna, and the robot was underneath) But I realized lter the islands were inside of the robot itself, rather than cloaking it. When I found out about it, it really got me interested in Bionicle again, especially thinking about all of the story moments in which the Giant robot was there all along. Long live the spirit.

  3. My favorite scene is when the Toa metru brought the matoran to mata-nui, both on bionicle 2 & 3. When they reach the island it plays the mask of light theme and I just wanna cry out of nostalgia. Seeing the Turaga bringing the matoran to Mata-nui was sweet.

  4. The sets may be dying out but there's never been a better time to hunt for unopened bionicles! I myself, have been buying used characters and parts since I'm not picky, but I do miss the days of 2001 seeing all of my favorite characters on their rightful place on the shelves with an army of mask boxes!

Ga-Metru, It's a shame we never could see more of it, tho.

    ^This.

Probably because of the serenity- it was the most peaceful Metru. The scholarly culture and the abundance of laboratories also appeals to me. Oh yeah, and it's populated mostly by females, that's a plus-point, right? ;)

If you want those females to be blue robots wearing masks.

  6. I personally liked the legend reborn because of the high definition graphics (the models have textures) and the compelling storyline. It was also cool to see the different places on bara magna and all the pieces of the other robot.

But I like all the movies too, mask of light :)

  7. When I was really young, I had not even seen what challenges lie ahead in my life. I went online at a very young age to the mata-nui online game and it took me some months to get out of the beach, but eventually I made it to other villages such as Ta-Koro and learned the origins of the mysterious Toa. At the time my first set was only Kopaka, but I needed to learn more.

Bionicle had always set guidelines for how I should come across situations I had to deal with, and I stuck to the virtues and the principles they follow and I try and use that to become more responsible. Bionicle gave me my own universe, my own tropical island escape from the problems I had encountered at school very early on. The matoran were all my characters and the Toa were my heroes when I needed them.

    But then there came Makuta.

  8. My favorite toa team is the toa Mata's because they were the original heroes for me, and they are the prettiest sets, I really loved the original colors of bionicle before they became dark red and navy blue etc. And they wear humble kanohi masks which came in all sorts of colors.

My least favorite would have to be the hordika. I really do not like their building style
