  1. So before I get into this, I'm going to preface this. I did ask about posting this and I was told by multiple people I can talk about Role Playing on twitter and that I should post this in Completely off topic. So that is what I am doing. If this isn't the right place to talk about this, I apologize for the mistake. Also... none of this is advertising... or at least it's not intended to be advertising. So I do a lot of role playing on twitter and I have many accounts. One of those is a Pohatu Role Play account. I have been dying to do a Bionicle RP, but there are not many Bionicle RP accounts. And for those I am follwoing... they are not online often. In addition to all this, I go to search for accounts to follow and I can not find them. Although ironically there is a lot of accounts for makuta teridax. That character has the most I have seen yet. Basically, we need more Bionicle RP accounts on twitter. Role Playing is very easy as I am sure some of you have already done it before. You can role play as any chracter you want. Just be sure it's a character you are comfortable role playing as. Again, you can role play as whoever you want, but try to pick someone other than tahu and teridax (there is a lot of those on twitter) If you want to follow my Pohatu account, it's called PohatuBIA
  2. So I want to start up a thread about Role playing on twitter, but I have a couple of questions before I create this thread: 1. Can I talk about this subject on BZPower? 2. Where can I post a subject like this if I can talk about it on BZPower?
  3. I love this subject. As I stated in a previous thread, I would love to see a Bionicle fighter with a perspective similar to the Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi games. Don't know how well it would work, but I would still play it. Also I have to agree with every one on the Skyrim-style game idea.
  4. I'm going to through my opinion into the mix. I thought Bionicle did pretty good up until 07 when they started repeating the Inika and piraka build. I Like all the years, but seeing the inika build over and over again was a little annoying. But hey, minor complaints I guess. It's really hard to keep coming up with new designs when you get a really versatile one. I have to admit, I find the inika and piraka builds very versatile. Feel free to disagree with me if you happen to disagree, but please be respectful about it.
  5. We don't have to make a new thread just to disagree with your opinion. Personally I do think rap possibly could have fit 2008 to some extent if it were done right. Country, on the other hand, fits nothing that isn't rural USA in my opinion. I apologize for putting the limitations in. Now I will cave and agree that rap would fit if done right. But I am still standing by my opinion that Pop and country would not fit Bionicle at all. no. also, not a single song used for Bionicle was ever grunge, so.. what? Alright, fine they weren't metal. But they definitely sounded metal-ish in my opinion.
  6. Why not? I can't stand rap or country but I don't really see the need to restrict them. Yeah, since you're asking people their opinions, it doesn't make much sense to create a "some opinions are more valid than others" atmosphere. Honestly, I'm not all that musically literate, so I don't know a whole lot of musicians by name. I feel like maybe Mark Mothersbaugh (who wrote The LEGO Movie's score) could have written some cool BIONICLE music. Jay Vincent and Mike Kramer, who write the music for the LEGO Ninjago cartoon, also seem like they could add a lot of personality to the BIONICLE score, particularly if they integrate a good blend of electronic sounds and more traditional rhythms. But my number one choice has got to be Mike Oldfield. I've loved his music ever since I first heard it (my dad had a lot of it on CD when I was in elementary and middle school). I "rediscovered" Mike Oldfield around 2006 or 2007, when I was first becoming really active in the online BIONICLE community. His albums Tres Lunas, The Songs of Distant Earth, and Light and Shade all have a magnificent sound that could have fit wonderfully in the BIONICLE score. Dude, I don't like Rap or country and I am not big on Pop. Doesn't matter. If you're going to ask other people's opinions then you have to accept that their opinions might differ from yours, rather than just setting up arbitrary standards for which responses are valid and which are not. My dislikes aside, I don't believe Rap (excluding the piraka rap), Country, and pop fit Bionicle. If you guys don't agree with my standards, you are more than welcome to make your own thread.

  8. So since this didn't go so well being partnered as a bonus topic in one of my previous threads, I'm going to make into it's own thread. From the original thread: "If you could choose a more main-stream band to have created music for Bionicle, who would you choose? Personally, I would of choose Iron Maiden." But here is my new idea: If you could choose any band to do the music for Bionicle, who would it be? No Pop music, No rap, and No Country. I don't care about the Piraka Rap. That doesn't count in this. I apologize for the limits. if you can find a song or band/artist from these genre's that could fit Bionicle, feel free to share it. But I'm going to be honest with all of you; I don't think pop and country fit Bionicle, but that is my opinion. My Band of choice: Iron Maiden when you think of a band or Artist: Assume Lego had the money to hire that band or Artist at the time. Now allow me to explain why I came up with this thread idea: I have to admit, I wasn't satisfied with the artists and songs that were used for Bionicle. What was with the grunge obsession? Although, out of all the songs Bionicle had; Caught in a Dream, Hero, Move Along, and Gravity Hurts were my favorites. They weren't grunge. Hero and Caught in a Dream were and I can say confidently; heavy metal songs (But Hero is kind of depressing). Gravity Hurts I'm guessing was alternative Rock (Feel free to correct me if I am wrong, but either way, it is not a grunge song). Move Along was another one of my favorites even though it was not originally meant for Bionicle. I have to say this though: My mind lumps Hero and Gravity Hurts in with the grunge songs. Now in regards to my choice (you don't have to explain your choice if you don't want to): I feel that Heavy Metal is fitting for Bionicle because of how the storyline grew and got darker. Heavy Metal often has songs with serious tones much like how Bionicle got as it went on. Plus Bionicle's are Semi-organic robots.... Not much else to say really. Just a disclaimer: I don't hate Face me or Creeping in my soul.
  9. I noticed there has been multiple toa mentioned in the Bionicle storyline that were never made into sets. I never did get Lesovikk, Norik, or Iruini, but I wanted to see the rest of their teams made into sets. Lesovik's team had Nikila which is a toa that really interests me. She is a freakin lighting toa and a female. Females are usually water toa (to my knowledge). I have seen her comic design and it looks awesome. I wish it would of been made into a set. And before I forget one of my points, The Toa Hagah is one team I wish Lego had released fully instead of only releasing Norik and Iruini. I loved Norik and Iruini's designs (I so wanted Norik as a kid but I never got him unfortunately). I think it would of been possible to release these sets and I wished Lego had released them. Lego, if you bring back Bionicle in 2015 (or in any year for that matter), release these unreleased Toa as sets.
  10. Hey guys, if Bionicle did crossovers while it was active, what crossovers would you have like to have seen? I know the comics were published by DC (Correct me if I am wrong) so there was potential there. But in retrospect, it probably would of been difficult to show super man and Tahu fighting together.
  11. Since this is quite unrelated to the topic at hand, if you want to discuss that, you may want to make a thread in the general Bionicle Discussion forum here. Yeah, I probably should. I'm just so used to putting multiple topics into one thing (I spend a lot of time on DeviantART).
  12. Oh yeah, I forgot about those. They were pretty fun. I think If they made a Bionicle fighting game similar in style to the Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi series and put a lot of effort into it, it would come out pretty good. There would still be some issues, but it would be a pretty good fighter. I have to admit though, a super smash brothers style Bionicle game is hard to imagine.
  13. My apologies. I don't really post on forums much so I am a little inexperienced. What do you want me to do with the topic? Sorry about that. I don't post on forum's much so I am a little inexperienced.
  14. I wish Lego had a made a fighting game for Bionicle. That would of been awesome. Bionicle in my opinion, has a lot of potential for a fighting game. Settings, Fighter rosters, abilities, moves; All the stuff is there for a fighting game.
  15. I have seen a lot of MOC's here and there. I have seen Samus, Twilight Thorn, Iron Man, etc. But I have not seen any CreepyPasta MOC's yet. If you don't know what Creepy Pasta's are, they are internet horror stories. If you want some examples, go Google Creepy Pasta. Some easy ones I imagine would be Slender Man, Eyeless Jack, and The Rake. Some Hard ones would be Zalgo, Smile dog, Jeff the Killer, and Laughing Jack. But come to think of it, I may have of seen a slender man MOC somewhere a long the line. But anyways, I challenge everyone to make CreepyPasta MOC's!
  16. So here is my first Forum Post here on BZPower. I realize a bunch of people have probably already done a topic like this, but I have my reasons. Back when the Official Bionicle website was running, the first forum I ever posted in was about this topic. Try to keep it to just rahi. But I am okay with Rahkshi and Bohrok. My pet would be Kurahk. Kurahk has been the only Rahkshi I have been able to re-build from my original collection. And here is a bonus question: If you could choose a more main-stream band to have created music for Bionicle, who would you choose? Personally, I would of choose Iron Maiden.
  17. That is a hard one to call. Personally, I do not think they would go to the Red star because they are from different universes. I think they would be lost in the Multi-verse void because they are not in there origin universes (Think Wreck-it-ralph and what happens to game characters when they are outside of their game).
