  1. I honestly when I saw you posted in this topic thought you would say the Mask of FIRE MoF<Mask of Conjuring (Plus I can get fire with the Mask of Conjuring anyway, so ) [Edit] Why did I make my 2300th post here instead of corpus or somewhere
  2. Mask of Conjuring. With a bit of time and thought, it can do anything any other mask can- and more. Looks-wise, I'd go for the Mask of Scavenging- in the words of Ultron, "The world's deadliest beard."
  3. I'm a Makuta. Guess. (For those of you who don't want to guess, ded. I'd be really rather ded.)
  4. IC: Malady (Approaching Ta-Koro) "That's... a lot of lava," I observe sarcastically as we arrive, referring to the lake of molten rock beneath Ta-Koro. Activating my Kadin, I shoot out across the lava, skimming close enough to the liquid fire for the heat to be a palpable, oppressive presence.
  5. WHY SO SERIOUS, WOTC

  6. IC: Malady (Gym) Eyes narrowed as I scan the room once more, this time from the vantage point of the air, I spot a particular Rahkshi, wiry and black all over, who appears to be trying to leave the Gym, even though Icarax is blocking us from leaving. "Assassin," I snarl, landing behind him as I unsheathe my mace. "You've got two options. Jump in the pit now, or have Icarax drop your broken body in there. Choose wisely." OOC: Just to be sure, that Rahkshi is Optis.
  7. IC: Malady (Ta-Wahi) I nod back.
  8. IC: Akuavo (Equalizer) I frown in the darkness as the shockwave reaches us. Deciding to be resourceful, I take a flint and steel out of my pocket and grab a torch, identified by the dim light of my heartlight and eyes. Placing the bundle of wood and straw on the ground, I focus my power into the flint, storing enough energy in it to make it physically vibrate in my hand. Then I strike the stone across the metal, the shower of sparks from the sped-up tool landing on the oil-soaked end of the torch and causing it to flare into life. I hold the torch up, casting a yellowish, flickering light over the room. --------------------------------------------------------- IC: Lohi (Prison) "Noice," I say, giving the general a thumbs up as I skim through the file, not even batting an eyelid when my double is shot.
  9. IC: Malady (Ta-Wahi) I mouth the words silently to myself as Subject signs, coming out with... "Only a few more minutes?"
  10. IC: Malady (Ta-Wahi) "I can't understand what you're trying to say if you're facepalming- really, I can't."
  11. IC: Malady (Ta-Wahi) I squint at the signing, trying to remember what they all meant- after all, I'm still learning. "Did you say... 'Only a potato more minutes'?"
  12. IC: Acinaces (Gym) I return the hug, the new tendons and muscle in my shoulder stiff. "I'll take that as a no, then..."
  13. IC: Malady (Ta-Wahi) It's hot here. Not that I don't like the heat- far from it; I grew up in the steamy jungles of Le-Wahi, so being in a humid heat is like my being in my element. Pun not intended. But this heat, this heat from deep below the ground, from deep within the fiery bowels of the world... It most definitely isn't the humid heat I like. This heat is the heat of charred trees and burned corpses, the close, dense heat that bows you over and causes some to faint. I wipe the brow of my Kadin. The sweat comes off with my hand, the salty beads very little of a relief against the back of my hand as I shake them off to land on a small boulder, sizzling. "Any idea how far it is to go?" I say moodily to Subject, dropping back slightly to move him into my field of vision. "I'm way, way too hot. How the heck aren't you cooking in that vault of yours, anyway?"
  14. IC: Nymph (Nynrah) Reluctantly, I get up as well, waiting for Fior to get the maps out. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ IC: Malady (Gym) My face is impassive as the weakling gets up, dissatisfaction roiling behind my face of stone as he drops into the pit. I shrug, turning to the rest of the crowd. "Anyone else?" ------------------------------------------------------------------------ IC: Acinaces (Gym) "You alright?" I say brightly to Rider, surprisingly spritely for someone who had just lost an arm. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ IC: Mu (Gym) Mu turned over in the pit so that he was lying on his face. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ IC: Ilukiri (Library) Shrugging faintly, Ilukiri returned to his writing, humming away quietly to herself as she wrote. OOC: Mu, Malady and Ilukiri OFI.
  15. I think we established somewhere (It was probably on Skype) that Rahkshi from the same Makuta aren't necessarily siblings, more like Rahkshi from the same batch being siblings, an example being that both the Omega family and Sepulchral both coming from the same Makuta (Bitil) but they wouldn't see each other as siblings, probably more like cousins or something along those lines. Feel free to correct me, anyone, if we didn't actually have that discussion and I'm just dreaming it up.
  16. IC: Excelsior (Le-Koro) Unflinching, the Vortixx fired a bullet at the lightstone, shattering it mid-flight. He weathered the resulting flash with ease, his sunglasses protecting his eyes from most of the blast of light, and a squint helping him through the rest. "To business, then?" Excelsior said, blowing a trail of smoke away from the barrel of his gun before slipping it back into the folds of his trench coat, all done with the greatest grace, and the words dropping suavely from his lips like syrup from the sweetest maple in the Ko-Wahi lowlands.
  17. IC: Malady (Gym) I get off my victim, no longer dripping slime.
  18. IC: Malady (Gym) "By getting up, and putting yourself in that spike ring over there," I continue venomously.
  19. IC: Malady (Gym) Now, I know probably isn't an assassin- after all, he could have already killed me if he was one- but what's the point of something like this if you don't get to beat someone up? I activate my powers, sending a stream of nausea running down through my limbs to flow into the hapless Camorahk's body, even as I drip slime from the rest of my body. "Prove it," I whisper nastily, the use of my powers intended as an intimidation agent.
  20. IC: Malady (Gym) "Only for you to go and jump into the spike ring over there, assassin," I snarl, readying my mace for a fight.
  21. IC: Malady (Gym) I turn in the air, surveying the crowd to find... ". You're alive." I frown disappointedly, before shrugging and swooping down, clipping a few heads as I skim above the Rahkshi. I home in on a smaller Rahkshi- although not as small as the one that got assassinated when Sliver was doing stuff- whose armour is covered in a ridiculous camo-pattern, curled up on the floor. I drop out of flight mode right next to him, sending me on a collision course for his head. OOC: Malady speaking to Sepulchral at first, then flying off and attacking Rider.
  22. IC: Lohi (Prison) "On second thoughts, yes."
  23. Lego Magic: the Gathering. I know it'd like, never happen since the game itself is rated 12+ or something, but still.
