Yeah well this was my first time using LDD for anything other than ordering wacky parts, so I didn't know how to use it at all. So if I could learn to make basic stuff in 10 mins and throw this together in 15 it's safe to say that LEGO will pump something out that is GREAT, seeing as they've had a long time to design this stuff + there's still extra time.
It was probably no more than a prank, you know? I don't think we should connect something from the beginning of the year in 2013 to late 2014. The images also have certain qualities that relate to current constraction design, so even if they were faked, they were made in extreme detail. You just said it was a prank then said it was real. Besides your contradictions, I will go with your first sentence: Coming soon page on lego can't be result of a prank, especially the bionicle-keyword/url oddness being bionicle-keyword/url specific.
It's always done that since Bionicles site was taken down. I thought it just showed lego.com? I mean all the images are messed up with lines on them, there are missing texts, messages saying "undefined", stuff like that. That's strange, It's not happening to me... Odd. It only happens when you are redirected from Bionicle.com for me, not just lego.com normally.

I have a feeling that there may be an announcement in september... just a gut feeling. It'd give them time to finalize designs for websites, sets etc. and also be an optimal moment for an announcement because it's one of those nothing-happening-but-conventions months.

I'm waiting for my printer to ship, but meanwhile, I may add in that covering a metru head with lotion, covering it with cold porcelain, sculpting, drying, popping off the mask, and hot-gluing an axle rod works quite well.
The design was supposed to play on the fact that the original toa have no armour, and their robotic nature means they would be fine with being thinner, and it also makes the players a smaller target to make multiplayer harder, as using Tahu means you could blast Gali into steam at any moment. Thank you! I'm currently working with making 48-64 player servers but they always lag up and disconnect, and that's why I'm developing a server application to go with closed alpha.
