  1. This isn't really from a marketing perspective, since there were no plans to have Bo-Matoran sets.
  2. I agree with you on the fact that females are not very well represented. However, I think that pink would be kind of jarring and stand out a bit too much. Tan and green could give it more of a 'grassland' feel, but I'm not sure that that's where they live. And the Turaga could have a deep brown and a dark green to have the impression of a majestic, old tree.
  3. A summery could be, rather than a video, two sentences: "Long ago, there was an evil being who threatened the universe. However, a team of heroes defeated him, and reunited their world with another." That way it satisfies the older fans and the younger ones are given a theme of mystery, similar to what the first ones felt back in '01. And the inquisitive of the new fans could delve deeper into Bionicle's history is they wanted to.
  4. Let this be the hour when we draw swords together. Fell deeds awake. Now for wrath, now for ruin, and the red dawn. Forth, Eorlingas!

  5. Okay, thanks. Not too terribly long, it could be a lot worse I suppose.
  6. Forgive me for my ignorance, but when is NYCC? I want to mark my calender for the day that they (better) confirm Bionicle 2015.
  7. Did you go out and take his picture in the woods somewhere, or did you use a screen? Either way, the background is phenomenal.
  8. I think that Lego stopped using orange in 2006 due to low sales with sets of that color. Don't you mean brown? *facepalm* Brown.

  10. Muy Bien! I like how you made the legs look like they're walking, as well as slightly tilting the neck. The positions of them make it look very realistic.
  11. Trust me when I say this - my contact is reliable, and says there's no more Hero Factory for the foreseeable future. Additionally, the leaker does not want publicity - in fact, it took some effort to prevent the leaker's identity from being spread around. Lol, the choice of words is nearly identical to the letter that announced BIONICLE's cancellation. Evidently, Lego can't foresee five years.
  12. Or, you could unlock Matoran, Agori, and such. It was pretty cool what they did by making Lord of the Rings one big map, not a bunch of smaller ones. That was a neat concept, and it would be fascinating to see that implanted into the game that they might be making.
  13. Bionicle Heroes was a good attempt (especially in terms of scenery), however it would be cool to see one of those Lego Star Wars-style Bionicle games, where you have a picture of your character up in the corner, and there's that grid that shows which players you've unlocked. How's that for a vague description?
  14. It's not really a huge problem, I know you were joking... but this is a touchy subject, considering there actually are some people who might believe that I'm lying about all this... and I can't prove that I'm being honest without risking negative consequences for my source. Ah, I see. Well, I trust that you've got a valid connection. A wild Tahu appears!
  15. Alright, I'm sorry. I didn't think that it would irk you, but that's okay.
  16. Yeah, if Bionicle 2015 turns out to be a clever ploy, I'm blaming Chro.
  17. I agree 100%. I imagine that Lego gets a fair amount of emails similar to that, so if they were replying to them, I don't think that it would happen very swiftly.
  18. No, it engulfs text to. I got a wag of the finger a few times for referencing to it.
  19. That sounds quite mysterious. Mind telling us who the source is?
  20. Very good! I really like what you did with the Kaukau Nuva, by utilizing the blue on the silver. Keep it up!
  21. No. I don't like the Agori or the Glatorian. They're just a bit... meh, I guess. They were never fighting to save their universe like the Nuva or the Mahri, and what's more, the overwhelming majority of them have no powers. So Agori and Glatorian are boring. I can see your point in that, but that can be a mental challenge that the heroes have to overcome. You know, trying to prove oneself worthy of existing on a planet, or something like that. And at the end, they could be rewarded with powers, kind of like how the Mata got all Nuvafied and their abilities were upgraded. Yeah, but what's the point in giving them powers after they've done the mask quest? What would they use the powers for? The answer is what the Toa Nuva did: go on more adventures with your new powers.

  23. However, that doesn't mean that the Matoran will disappear completely. The story could begin to introduce inter-species conflicts and having a group of Agori or Matoran go rouge because they loathe to mingle with the other group. That might add a new layer to the social interactions between the species.
  24. Alright, this is my first MOC, so I hope you like it! Anyway, I have created a figure that I like to call 'The Beard of Knowledge'. He ranks among one of the taller ones, rounding to approximately 9'' or 23 cm. I've had a smaller version of him as a MOC for several months, however recently I began to add on to his build. This is the finished product. He is called the Beard of Knowledge because of his most eye-catching feature; his bright orange beard. Often I pose him scratching it, while contemplating life's mysteries. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/IrrationalRock/KnowledgeBeard/20140831_081725.jpg He is equipped with a massive claw and gauntlet on his left arm, as well as poseable fingers on his right. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/IrrationalRock/KnowledgeBeard/20140831_081519.jpg The Beard also has a head-mounted launcher with projectile... http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/IrrationalRock/KnowledgeBeard/20140831_081543.jpg ...and a jetpack. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/IrrationalRock/KnowledgeBeard/20140831_081622.jpg Here's a full body view: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/IrrationalRock/KnowledgeBeard/20140831_081855.jpg Thanks, and enjoy! EDIT: I gave him a white background, so I hope that this looks a little better. However, I still don't have a green screen so that I can make the back completely transparent. :/
