    So I took a quick look at the lego message boards and found that there's only one petition on the bionicle forum calling for it's return. Did the fanbase really shrink that much?

      Yeah it's pretty ridiculous. But I did notice a lot of the people who were on the bionicle forum did say they were into G1 when it was still around. Even then though it does show how unpopular it was with today's kids. Real sad sight to see. I can still remember back to 2003 (might have been 2002) when bionicle was still really popular. I remember seeing banners for it. Merchandise. And there would always be a canister sold out. Times change I guess...
