  1. The Death of Matoro...

I think the best moment of G1 had to be the battle between Mata Nui and Teridax at the end, even though people in the community at the time had mixed feelings about the ending of Bionicle as a whole.

Yeah, the whole 'bionicle ending' thing really got me out of lego entirely until recently when I found this forum... :3

  2.

Any particular reason for choosing Sonics?

I am a musically inclined person.

    I can sing very well.

I can play a mean tune on the trumpet.

...Just don't ask me to dance...

    Dance for me... <3

But seriously tho, I envy your creativity and build... the way you combined CCBS with Bionicle truly shows what's possible out there in terms of sets, MOCs, and designs.

  3.

But CLEARLY Takanuva takes the cake. Never knew he had the ability to control whales (obvious sarcasm intended in this statement)

Sarcasm? Your knowledge of Takanuva must be Extremely limited, He can, in fact, control whales.

And shrimp! Don't forget the shrimp control...

  4.

Fun fact: Since Kopaka's shoulder armor attaches to the ball joints on the CCBS torso, not the gearbox, his shoulder pads can be twisted to rest on his chest and form a bra.

That's not disturbing... no not at all.

    Why would it be?

Well actually, the Protectors are said to have "sons" and we have seem young villagers.

Which means the villagers can biologically reproduce.

Oh my dear lord... I can only imagine what this will bring up on the internet. >~<

The DeviantArt part of the community comes to mind.

    NO STOP PLEASE!

Internet, don't you dare do that to Bonkles. You've already made Pokemon, MLP and FNaF unclean, you're not doing with Bionicle, too!

Technically...this is old news. Go on Biosector01; Agori and Glatorian are more biological than mechanical and can therefore reproduce.

    You're welcome  B-)

So... that's why Kiina... oh my... >~>

You could also (in theory of course) use clay to make molds and then use those molds to make masks out of play-doh or some other substance?

Also, if you're very technically skilled, carve a mask out of wood?

The precision that would take is I'm pretty sure impossible by humans, in order for the mask to be compatible with actual figures that is.

Which is why I said "in theory" :P but in all seriousness, there's gotta be other ways to make masks besides those 3 that the OP listed...

True, true... though 3D printing in my opinion is the best way to go, even though it is highly expensive.

Kopaka's design is a bit weird... as the gold is all clotted up at the top.

Though I'm eagerly awaiting the G2 Takanuva equivalent... the white and golds I'll get from that, including his new mask, will be more than enough to do a Forgeta, Defender of Light... *u*

What if the 7th toa this time isn't of the light element? :P

    *puts finger to your lips*

Shshshshshshshsh... *shoves my finger farther into your face* ...uhshshshshshshshsh...

But...I thought it was a valid question  B-) jk

Anyway, there is a universal problem that nobody mentioned yet so I'll do it: Kopaka's new shield attaches to his hand very awkwardly  :bigeek:

*shoves my hand down your throat* USHSHSHSHSHSHSHSHSHSH *shoves sock in your mouth*

But in all seriousness, the way the Protector of Ice's shield connects to the protector is probably the coolest thing I've seen Bionicle do so far in G2, but I will agree that Kopaka's shiel is rather weird, I mean in G1, at least the arm piece was designed so it wasn't so awkward to fit.

  12. All three methods have pros & cons, but I can't decide which method YOU want to use, only you can.

    • 3D Printing

    +Doesn't require damaging precious kanohi

    +Allows more freedom with creation

    -Incredibly difficult to learn

    -Very time consuming

    • Clay

    +Easy to learn

    +Easy to purchase materials

+Tastes delicious (not really, but how would I know?)

    -Difficult to manipulate

-Extra care must be taken to prevent the clay drying out when not in use

-To get smooth results, a lot of tools and equipment will need to be bought.

    • Cutting & Gluing

    + Plenty of tutorials

+ Tools are easy to get

    - The process requires damaging of precious Kanohi that may no longer be sold on Bricklink.

    - Process is irreversible, if you change your mind or mess up a kanohi, you can't fix it.

Don't forget, 3D printing is HIGHLY expensive.
