Ok, so I know I am a little late to the party (try about 2 weeks  ) but I think I will give this RPG a shot! (first BZP RPG btw, so please disregard my noobishness, I will try to get up to speed on rules and such :P)

    Name: Evix

Species: Toa (specifically a Toa of Gravity)

Power/Weapon 1: Elemental Power of Gravity

    Power/Weapon 2: Kanohi Avhokii

Power/Weapon 3: The Variant Kinetic Absorption Shield (details below): a large yet lightweight shield with the ability to absorb kinetic energy and manipulate it, though with some drawbacks

    • This shield can manipulate any kinetic energy produced by objects that come into contact with it, leaving most physical attacks inert upon impact
    • The amount of kinetic energy absorbed is dependent on how powerful the hit is
    • The shield has various settings as to how the kinetic energy is manipulated
    • Only one setting may be used at a time (in this case one setting per event)
    • Once a setting is used, it has a significant cooldown period, which is slightly dependent on how long the setting was used (also in this case, the shield cannot use a setting that was used in the previous event)
    Shield Settings:
    • Energize - All kinetic energy absorbed is converted to pure elemental energy and transferred to the holder, restoring elemental energy
    • Rebound - Kinetic energy is instantly reverted back to the object which was in contact with the shield, essentially doubling the impact backwards
    • Resist - All kinetic energy absorbed is transferred to the holder, making them significantly more resilient and enduring to incoming attacks; the level of resistance is dependent on how much energy is absorbed and also slowly decreases over time
    • Strength - All kinetic energy absorbed is transferred to the holder, increasing their physical strength significantly; the level of strength is dependent on how much energy is absorbed and also slowly decreases over time
    • Speed - All kinetic energy absorbed is transferred to the holder, increasing their physical speed significantly; the level of speed is dependent on how much energy is absorbed and also slowly decreases over time
Appearance: Lean and muscular, noticeable even though he is wearing armor. His armor lightweight and carved with intricate patterns, mostly colored black and purple but with subtle hints of crimson and silver.

Bio: Before being thrust into this... predicament, Evix was a bit of an adrenaline junkie, often trying to find ways of getting into dangerous situations for the thrill of it. This has helped him gain valuable tactical knowledge as well as significant experience in fights, but he is still reckless at times when it comes to battle.

Personality/Other: Evix's has an incredibly passive and just personality, despite living for the thrill, and is known for his brutal honesty. Being a bit socially impaired, he can be gullible at times.

  2. One of the lhikan entry did that, so I'm guessing it's a yes, I don't see why they

What an interesting coincidence! My entry was going to be Lhikan as well with him standing next to the Gen 1 Lhikan but my MOC looks almost exactly the same as the one in the entry! Sigh... I guess I will have to choose a different character now

Edit: Looks like a lot of people are doing Lhikan, so I guess it was an overused concept in the first place! :P Seemed almost too easy anyway

  3. I have always been a collector of Legos but unlike most, I keep my models intact so I do not have many to mess around with freely. Recently though, I have been buying sets purely for use of their pieces. I plan to make a Lego work station eventually and was wondering, what is the best way to organize them both storage-type-wise and convenience-wise?

I loved the voice actor when he only narrated, but now it seems sort of odd to me that he's voicing all of the characters in the online videos as well now. It probably could have been better if he stilled narrated, but made it like a storybook of some sort.

I would have to agree with this, but did you notice Kopaka's voice? It was a bit different from PoF/Tahu/The Narrator. "I didn't slip." :P
The new narrator adds subtle inflections to each of the characters—Kopaka's voice is slightly deeper than the others, Gali's is slightly higher-pitched, etcetera. Your mileage may vary as to whether these subtle changes are enough to easily differentiate the voices of the characters, but when you listen closely there are definitely differences.Anywho, as to which voice actors would suit which characters... not sure. I'm generally the sort of person who prefers when dedicated voice actors are cast for animated roles, and they aren't defined by any one voice but rather by the range of different voices they can provide. Dee Bradley Baker and Tabitha St. Germain are good examples of this kind of talent, but often the only way you can match an actor like that to a character is to see what exactly they bring to auditions.
When was Gali's voice revealed? Was it in her promotional video? I did see the promo videos but without sound so I have no idea about the other toa yet as fat as voices go. I guess I shouldn't make assumptions without full understanding of the facts anyway :P

  6. I am kind of superstitious about the disassembly of my precious collection...so I haven't exactly had to rebuild any sets for a while now. It is for the reason of my silly superstitious-ness that I plan to get at least two of each future set so I can keep one as a model for display and the other for MOCing purposes :] (wish I had done that from the start :/)

  7. The last Bionicle I opened was Muaka and Kane Ra just a few weeks ago, though I am not sure if it would count because the contents were still sealed in their original polybags but the box was open. Other than that I get kinda superstitious about opening older sealed sets :P
